Food delicious but overpriced. 
No accessible toilet. One of our party is wheelchair user. She was told to go to the pub next door. Staff very nice and apologisèd.  Said they have had a lot of requests from other customers for same.
Friends have since told us they had same problem over a year ago.
Very busy restaurant so assume profits are high given the prices. Would expect them to rectify this unless they don't care about disabled customers.

Avoid if accessible toilet required

Excellent accommodations, excellent food...
Only hotel where we had to check in at the bar but it turned out this was a bit of what made this hotel so special...it's a working pub and restaurant with lovely, comfortable rooms on the side. We found it a perfect launching point for the Cliffs of Moher....the rooms and food were great, the people made it special.

Perfect for the Cliffs of Moher...

Room ticked all the boxes for a one night stay.  Comfy bed, good shower, nice toiletries, homemade cookies. If you are a light sleeper you might not like the refrigeration units outside the window going all night but it didn’t bother us. Breakfast was very disappointing- the chef needs a lesson in how to cook scrambled egg - it was inedible.

Room good - breakfast not so good…

Wow.  At first we had concerns.  But wow the room were very nice!!  Just upgraded.   Had stairs to climb but it was an old building.   The food was very good!!!   A little pricey but it was top notch food.  The breakfast was the best we had in ireland.  Food service a little slow but the waitress support staff was much .ore attentive than she was.  There was plenty of parking out back.  What an awesome location for the cliffs of Moher and the kimlee cliffs

Awesome food in a nice quaint Irish place

Unfortunately we were disappointed on our visit to Vaughan’s. We were a group booked for dinner and were hosting friends. The food was fine but it is expensive. What was most disappointing was the service. No engagement with customers. Our mains arrived while our starter plates etc were still on the table. We had to ask a number of times for fresh cutlery. Not good enough at the prices they charge.

Disappointing

Stopped in here for lunch after a brisk walk along the cliffs. We had heard good reports about the food and were planning to have dinner here on one of the nights. Nice warm setting. We both had the seafood chowder with brown bread. I thought it was a bit watery compared to chowders in the past and not a large bowl considering the €9 price. Brown bread was decent but in an establishment of this calibre I would have expected to be served proper butter and not one of those horrible little gold wrapped butter pats, and not even decent brand. Yes, I'm probable nit picking but if you charge premium prices I expect premium quality.

Good food but overpriced

Excellent food and professional staff. However this is quite and expensive place to eat and I felt it was a little overpriced for the location and quality of food albeit the food was lovely. It’s a really nice pub/ restaurant and if you’re prepared to spend the money I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is visiting the area.

Lovely place to eat

Excellent place to eat and stay.  The staff was excellent and very helpful.  We were there as we approached the Cliffs of Moher late at night on our Road Trip around Ireland.  We didn't have a reservation so we were fortunate it was the offseason.  We got Room #1.  I could tell that advance booking online would mean a Discount.

We hadn't booked but we went in the hope that we could have a table.  Initially the Manager said there were no tables free but if we would eat at the bar he could fit us in.  The bar was laid up properly.  We took him up on this and had a drink while we were looking at the Menu.  A short while later a couple came in and were told that they could have a table if they were prepared to wait.  When we spoke to the Manager again he agreed that we could have a table rather than eat at the Bar which was better as I found the bar stools too high.
There was a good selection of locally caught fresh fish and several varieties of oysters.  After ordering we were given a complimentary sample of soup which was very tasty and much appreciated.
I had a chat with the waiter about the different varieties of oyster as I had never tasted one and he willingly let me have one to taste rather than a whole portion. The meals when they arrived after not too long a wait were well presented, tasty and satisfying although a little on the large size.  Beware of the fish and chips the portion is  enormous.  The dessert we chose - raspberry soufflé - was freshly baked and well worth the wait.  
We left as two very satisfied customers.

Well deserved reputation

I was there in September with a group of 8 people,Family and friends. From start to finish the night was amazing. We all had different starters and 
Mains. The food was just amazing.The staff were so helpful all night.A big thank you to all involved for making our night truly memorable.
