We were allowed to spend 2 super nice days/nights in the Granary Lodge. We had the double half for ourselves: sheep room with bathroom ensuite. separate WC in the EG + living room with TV and various books around the area. Breakfast room with dressing room (baker + tea + coffee) and everything newly built, very clean + maintained and comfortable. Near the lodge there is a 3 km long white sandy beach and the possibility of excursion (brother of our landlord has a horse stable nearby). Furthermore, it is not far from Sligo and you drive about an hour from there to the cliffs of Slieve Leagues - the 3rd highest cliffs in Europe.

It's new.

We struggled a little to find the structure because there were no signs, but once we entered we forgot about this... It is a very new row house, with a living room and a breakfast room at our disposal, and the rooms above. The house is all furnished with particular attention even to the smallest details, the rooms were perfect, with candles and towels in tint. The bathroom is very new. The neighborhood is very quiet so it rests very well. The real surprise was in the morning because Marie prepared us a beautiful breakfast table, with some treats that she reserved for us only. The breakfast was obviously excellent and with a wide choice. She was very kind and cordial and she made us know about her little cocoons!

Really lovely, my self and my friend decided to get out of town for the weekend, hitting Donegal first, then heading on to Sligo. This was easy to find and the rooms are really nicely decorated and fresh looking. The view wasn't fantastic, with an unfinished house right outside our room, however the view further was lovely. Really lovely Lady running the house, and she was very welcoming. I would stay here again for sure.

Really lovely house, simplistic and fresh

We stayed at Granary Lodge, Grange, Co Sligo one night in July 2016.  We had a little difficulty in finding the place as it is located in a housing estate off the main road and had to ask for directions.  It is unique in that it is two adjoining houses run my Marie who is a lovely lady and tries so hard to make guests comfortable.  Our room was a little small but comfortable and very clean, having only been opened last year.  We had a breakfast fit for a king and our stay was enhanced by all of Marie's little personal touches, like home baked seaweed scones, fresh fruit yoghurt and more.  There are lots of places to visit nearby and the seaside is just a short drive away.  Marie is an exceptional lady who puts her heart and soul into her B & B at a very reasonable price. We would stay again if we are in the area. I would suggest a little sign on the main road would be helpful.

Checkin and room was okay. It was clear, but the shower has no warm water. Explained it to the host and waited around an hour for the technican who can't fix it and paid full price for this experience. 

Never again

Two couples on a three week tour of Ireland. Granary Lodge was chosen for location ( outside of city near beaches & walking trails) , rates & ability to walk for an evening meal. We spent three nights in this new B&B near Sligo. Marie our host was lovely and helpful. The home is a duplex with rooms on both halves all on the second floor. Wi-Fi was weak up stairs and perhaps a booster should be considered . 

Our ensuite twin room was cosy as was the bathroom but very comfortable, clean with many "extras"  

Breakfasts were excellent and slightly different each morning. The dining room has a small nook where coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a biscuit are available  when ever you wish. A lovely lounge with TV & excellent WIFI  and information on the local area was a bonus for our group of four to enjoy a glass of wine , tea or coffe at the end of a busy day of hiking.
 Five minutes away walking is Langs Pub where we enjoyed all of our evening meals.
