Mary went above and beyond and was incredibly welcoming and friendly, couldn’t have asked for a better service. On arrival she offered to pick me up from the bus stop and made me coffee and cake when I got in. She catered for all my needs and more, Lovely house in a lovely little town. Clean and quiet and lovely dogs! Definitely recommend 

Amazing, wonderful host and place 

It was a pleasure to stay in this lovely B&B so close to town centre of Nenagh. The owner Mary was a lovely. hostess. The cooked Breakfast was too much but delicious.  Everything was clean and tidy.  lovely garden to sit in.   i was very pleased with the week i spent there and shall certainly return and recommend to others.

Excellent B/B in lovely old property with character

This is a lovely B&B, a family home in the heart of Nenagh operated by the daughter of the original owner.  The home is maintained spotlessly.  The breakfast area is spacious and always prepared with place settings, continental breakfast items and a refrigerator to keep personal items.  Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable with a full bath included.  The TV was placed in an awkward area above to the left of the headboards.  But we didn't spend much time watching TV so it didn't really matter.  The owner was very attentive and concerned that all our needs were met.  On our last day, we returned from a long, night drive from Dublin and had to catch our plane home the next morning.  The owner voluntarily met us and brougth us a lovely, complimentary cheese board to our room.  It hit the spot.
If stairs are an issue, be sure to request a downstairs room when booking.
Ample parking off the street was a big plus.

Felt like stayin at home with relatives.

Mary is an amazing host! 

The location was ideal! The room was cozy and clean, She made my stay memorable with her warm hospitality and helpful recommendations. 

Highly recommend this b&b to anyone looking at a break in Nenagh. Also lovely selection for breakfast.

Williamsferry is so good, we keep coming back!
Mary offers Irish hospitality, at its very best.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The best Irish home cooked breakfasts, proper rashers, sausages, pudding and eggs!! (There's plenty of other options too).
Excellent location for Nenagh Town centre, walking distance to all amenities. Parking on site is also really handy.
Mary is a wonderful host and nothing is ever too much trouble, great local knowledge of things to do and places to visit. Mary has made Williamsferry a wondeful home from home.
We'll definitely be back!

Irish hospitality at its best

I stayed for 6 days at the Williamsferry in Nenagh.  It is a fabulous old family home with a lot of history.  The room was lovely and spacious, everything i needed was there. Many options for breakfast, and anything you  might need Mary will provide. She is a lovely lady and will make you very welcome. This is also in an excellent, central location. I cannot say enough about this great experience!

Williamsferry B&B in Nenagh

Our stay at Williamsferry was exceptional. 

The rooms were super clean and cozy, same for the bathrooms. We were also allowed to use all facilities such as a living room and since the weather wasn’t that good one afternoon it was super good to have a nice place to chill.

The breakfast was delicious and Mary was an extraordinary host, always looking forward to help and very attentive.

I recommend a 100% and we are looking forward to go back.


Best gateway place in ireland

This was our second visit to Williamsferry House and we would certainly stay there again in future.  The accommodation is welcoming, clean and comfortable with off road parking and generous breakfasts.Mary is a friendly and interesting host, who gave us fascinating information about the history of the house and the local area, and made suggestions about interesting places to visit a bit further afield. The house is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Nenagh, a busy market town with plenty of shops and pubs, (a nice change from online shopping!) as well as sites of historical interest.  It is a good base for exploring the beautiful Shannon estuary, the West Clare peninsula, and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Visiting Nenagh?  Look no further for great accommodation!

Mary is so lovely and caring. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are clean.
You'll have plenty of food anytime, she will take care of.
She also drove us around the city for a tour and dropped us where we needed to be.
I recommend this house without any doubt.

We enjoyed our stay

My first stay in Nenagh was a very relaxing one thanks to Mary the owner and this lovely and very tastefull decorated house. 
The room was lovely and spacious, the bed very comfortable and breakfasts were available with fresh fruits end great coffee.  Outside spacious  parking and very convenient for walking into town. The surrounding Tipperary area/ countryside had much to offer in the sence of roadtrips, hikes, lakes and musicsessions in gorgious old pubs. All shops and restaurants simply around the corner.
The house itself is a historic place and it was intresting to hear about life in and around it in the old days, taken well care of now by Mary and her family. 
I can recommend Williamsferry house as great value and perfect choise.
