I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights and loved it. It’s in the gorgeous Irish countryside outside of Galway city, and the amenities were great (good rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room). I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone traveling to Ireland.

Great Hostel in the Irish Countryside

While traveling with some friends we found this place online, didn't really know what to expect. we were pleasantly surprised. The owner is very nice. the rooms are nice and have very comfortable beds. There is a nice view of Irish countryside. I didn't get to try the fishing, but form what I saw It looked pretty good.

Very nice place.

Very nice hostile in the countryside of Ireland. Had a kitchen for cooking and a dining and living area to host groups. Experienced great service and a beautiful location outside of Galway Ireland. Would highly recommend

Great place to stay

Excellent sleep - nice and quiet, comfortable beds.   Excellent kitchen facilities to make our own meals -   the walk to the bus stop is a nice walk -  a comfortable sitting area with a nice view of country-side

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 15.  Had a GREAT stay

Visited this hostel for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was by far the cleanest, nicest, most relaxing, and most scenic hostel I have ever stayed in and I have been in a number of hostels all across Europe. There is a heavy fishing theme including two fully stocked ponds but is still great for the non-fishing traveler! Would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for a very relaxing Irish getaway! Only about a 30 min bus ride into Galway City!

Top of the Line Hostel

We're five guys who spent one night in August, and we chose this hostel because of its great location, and in about 20 minutes you can add Galway, and it's very quiet and isolated from the city, and a small problem is the lack of baskets in the room and bathroom.

It was a nice surprise. We arrived very late on the first night (over 10pm, due to a plane delay). I tried to call the manager to warn him of our delay, but I came across an e-mail indicating another number. A few minutes later, the manager called me back. After explaining the situation, he waited for us at the reception. (Very nice & pro at such a reason). Arriving at night, the hotel is a few kilometers from the center (Advantage: Quiet, very little passage / Disadvantages: Obligation to take the car to go to the center, not obvious to park).

It's a lovely place.

The owner made a mistake not to return the bail for alleged inconvenience (talking in an acceptable tone in our room after 0:00 with the hostel half empty), which seemed unacceptable, especially when the shower water was frozen in the morning.

Accommodations are acceptable but poor service.

This large blue/grey house is located on a large plot of land surrounded by two small lakes and greenery. It is an isolated and noisy place. To get there, it is best to have a car, on foot, it is less interesting. There are many parking spaces around the place. It is a very large place or there is tranquility. The owner also offered a very large price for a well-locked and re-located room so that we could stay in the room, which had 5 bedrooms, and the only place that I could recommend to stay in is a very nice place to stay for two nights.
