Hostess was friendly very homely feel loved the fresh breakfast all home grown or baked soda bread brought lovely childhood memories back off my Gran . Clean out off this world views very pleasant stay xxx

We stayed here for the night and were welcomed by Siobhan we were shown to the room we got the downstairs room with outside terrace. The room was really nice and bright and spacious it was lovely inside and had a really good modern bathroom plenty of plugs in the room and table with tea and coffee facilities with snacks for tea bars of chocolate etc. We had a great sleep the beds were very comfy and extra pillows etc the views from the room were great and we had a really good sleep. The breakfast was amazing and plentlyful we got the full Irish breakfast and it was top quality food lovely local produce and the host has made homemade jams which were beautiful with the breads provided. Cereal's and tea and coffee all available and orange juice etc we had stayed in a few b&bs on our travels in Ireland and this was our favourite top service and stay and would love to visit again. Also a bonus for us as dog lovers was the owners it was nice to have a friendly visit in the terrace we played fetch the stone for a while Springer spaniel always on the go lol 🤣 great stay!!!

Wonderful stay at this lovely B&B! Every detail of what you could want or need is thought out and the breakfast was gorgeous (and the views). The owners are friendly and being careful to abide by COVID-19 safety guidelines. Highly reccommended!

Lovely B&B

The hosts are really very nice and gave me a lot of very useful advices what to visit and see. The room was excelent, very clean with  beautiful views. The B&B is "strategicly" located. I stayed there for 6 nights to explore different parts of West Cork Peninsulas and even Ring of Kerry. You will not leave this place hungry, the homemade jam you will remeber for ever.  Definitely recommended.

A great, very well located B&B

This wonderful, charming b&b is fantastic. Everything from the hospitality we received on our late arrival to our wonderful, comfy bedroom. The setting of this b&b is breathtaking with amazing scenery from the breakfast room, it really added to the devine breakfast.

Fabulous

The hosts are very nice. The rooms are spacious and as a guest you are spoiled rotten. It has beautiful views and the rooms are sparkling clean. There is plenty of information about things to do in the environment. Definately recommended.

A great B&B with homemade jam for breakfast

Our host was very friendly. We had apples from the neigbor on our table. Our room was up equipped with a coffee maker and stocked with creamer and sugar. We had a TV and ensuite in our room. We had 2 double beds in our room and the room was quite spacious. For breakfast our hostess cooked us a full Irish breakfast. She had local honey and local dark and light pudding, tomatoes, eggs, toast, and bacon to AM. The jams were all homemade. It was lovely to sit by the window and watch and her beautiful white horse roam about.

Home away from home

Visited Bantry in August to do some sailing and rowing.  Stayed two nights at La Mirage.  This was one of the best places I have ever stayed.  The hosts were fantastic, welcoming and very helpful.  The room was spacious and very clean.  Everything you needed was in the room.  It’s about five minutes journey by car outside Bantry.  If you plan to go into Bantry at night to sample some evening entertainment, the hosts will help arrange a taxi in and out of Bantry.  The taxi very reasonable, 4 of us travelled into Bantry and the cost was €7. The breakfast was amazing, everything from fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, homemade jams to a full Irish breakfast.  The breakfast was one of the best I ever had.  Such comfortable beds and set in a quiet, beautiful and comfortable area with lovely scenery.  I cannot recommend La Mirage enough, I will certainly be going back again.

Excellent, just excellent

We stayed there for two nights. It was such a great place, we loved the owners. Really kind and helpful people . Holly the dog was also great. Wonderful brekki. Could not have a nicer and warmer welcomed stay during our road trip. Thanks for everything . Sure we come back
