The house has a garden and parking spaces. The owner is very kind and very helpful and attentive. She offered us coffee, tea and small cakes when we arrived at the end of the morning. We were able to take possession of our bedrooms immediately. On the other hand, the comfort of the rooms and especially the bathroom facilities are old and inefficient (more water when the occupants of the front room start their bath). The cleanliness of the premises is perfect (unempty double trash in the bathroom). I understand that this is a regrettable thing. The breakfast is excellent and very filling.

One of just 4 farm-stays we encountered in Ireland on this trip and each was of an amazingly high standard for BandB's! The welcome was as friendly as a friend would give if they haven't seen you in a long time... the accommodation was of a good size, clean and well appointed... and the food was exquisite. Sadly we could only stay a night but will add this great little BandB to our wish-list for a return in the near future. We will be back to visit our new friends. Thank you.

Brilliant BandB

We were welcomed by our niece, a very kind and caring young girl, who offered us coffee in a setting where the mix of old and new photos makes you feel welcome in a family home. Very clean. Excellent lunch. It was a pleasure!

All right, all right.

We slept in this farmhouse the first night we arrived in Ireland, the best way to begin an ireland tour. The lady welcome us with a nice tea and a great cake, the place was very nice and clean the bed were very confortable and the shower very powerfull. The breakfast was very full with lot's of choice. Not expensive at all. I recomend it

I enjoyed my stay at Cradog Farmhouse. Lil is a friendly and helpful hostess and serves a great Irish breakfast. The house is clean and quiet and the beds are good. I stayed in room 1. It was a little cramped and would have been more so had there been two people. But there are other rooms and that is my only complaint. Frank's quiet and wry sense of humor really added to the experience. Good job guys!

A great B&B in a beautiful setting

I regret having to write this review, as the owners are lovely, kind people, but the accommodation is not acceptable. We stayed in room 1. It was extremely tiny with soiled carpet and rock hard twin beds. The bathroom was minuscule. There was no soap for the sink. The shower had a used sliver of soap. The ratty towels were so scratchy they were difficult to use. The breakfast was nice, but did not offset the poor quality of this B & B. We are world travelers and this was the most disappointing accommodation we have had.

You get what you pay for and this was a reasonable rate for fairly standard amenities 
Lil the owner was lovely and greeted me with a fantastic pot of tea and apple pie with cream - a nice touch after a long day driving. 
The breakfast was good
The shower however was little more than a dribble and the wash basin was not clean

Lovely but .....

From arrival to departure, we can only write positive things. We just got a cup of tea. It's a very nice, typical accommodation as you imagine it and a very nice, loving host. You feel a little like visiting your grandmother. Quiet location. Recommended!

Interruption on our round trip

We booked this place as was the most close to the place that we were, we didn't check that much on the reviews or the discription since we just need a place to sleep. The place was dificult to find since the gps sent us to another place so we recomend a closer look to the adress. We arrived and Lil open the door for us, greeting with a big smile and a pot of tea and chocolates. She recomended us the best places to eat in the village and made a sweet map for us to guide. The place it's well decorated and personalized. In the morning at our window we could experiencie the nature outside and the two friendly dogs. But the best was the breakfast. Served in a perfect dinning room with a selection of fruits, cereals, yougurts and a delicious home made jam and apple cyder: priceless. Then Lil brought us some bread and the Irish breakfast. Really good quality and service. The details were amazing. We couldn't be more happy.

Perfection is not enough to describe

The best of the rooms is room 2 because it's spacious with a comfortable bathroom. The least good is room 1 because it's small and the bathroom is narrow with an unpressurized water jet. Breakfast is excellent with an extraordinary home jam. The hosts are charming. The other two rooms are nice and normal with each a large bed. One big drawback is that the doors of the rooms have a transparent glass top so if someone else is awake while you want to sleep you sleep with the light that's off. This BNB is lost in the countryside and the nearest city has few restaurants to eat it: we tested the expensive pizzeria, which is not a bad service.
