an international group of scientists met for a three day conference at this location.
the rooms are terrible- dated, dirty floors, mold in the bathroom, musty odor everywhere. this property has not been remodeled in decades. the common outdoor area is neglected with old furniture and fake grass. there is no beauty nor attention to the space.
the kitchen staff is lazy and rude. the service areas for coffee and tea are dirty, the table cloths that cover the space are sticky with dirt and stains that have been there for many days. the kitchen staff lays out the food and disappears to surf the internet or text with friends. the group received acceptable breakfast choices that some are more suitable for dinner. the food that was served for dinner was remixed and served for breakfast the following morning. one kitchen person sneezed in the kitchen as she was preparing the food, she was not wearing gloves or a net to cover her hair. she was clearly upset I notified the office that the food area was filthy and she made sure I see she is pissed off as she reluctantly began cleaning and sweeping the floor as people were still eating breakfast in that space. how unprofesional. despicable.
the cleaning crew does not make the beds, does not replenish soap in the bathroom- even though I asked for it- and there was no hot water in the shower on the last morning.
the business is evidently run poorly, the management does not care about the guests and the cost is absolutely not justified.
the access to the facility goes through a construction zone and there is no signage in English! a few of the non hebrew speaking guests got lost on the first day. totally unacceptable. 
since this facility is private on kibbutz land there was no access to a swimming pool.
we are embarrassed to have exposed European guests to such sub-standard facility. there are much better options around western Galilee and we will never ever return to this particular facility.  



run away!

We booked 3 rooms for one night at the kibbutz. We paid 1000 shekels per room (300 euros) for awful, dirty rooms and looking over the kibbutz trash. When we complained to the management team, they told us that we were not at the hotel but at the kibbutz. That there were no other rooms available and that we had paid that price (understandably more expensive) because we only stayed one night. Indeed not the logic of a hotel. To sum up, we paid more for the ugliest rooms.

Watch out for the scam!

We spent a weekend in this place, the suite was nice, in a very quiet area, not too fancy.
Parents bed was good but the children complained thiers is too small.

Saturday breakfast was good with fresh vegitable, boiled eggs , difffernt kind of cheese.

Crew was very freindly and kind.

We stayed at this B&B one night too many...   Basic - even austere - accommodation: tiny bathroom, shower doors do not close properly, which means a slippery floor after each shower, smallish and thin towels, etc. We made the grave mistake of booking our room directly from the property's office, only to find out that we could have paid 300 Shekels LESS had we booked through "Booking". When we asked the lady at the office about it, she bluntly said: "It is always cheaper to book through Booking..". From our experience, properties often try to match on-line booking engines, and definitely do not charge 850 shekels (which is what we paid for this poor experience) while offering their rooms for 476 shekels + VAT, which comes to 557 shekels, through external search engines. The only redeeming point was the good and rich breakfast, which we enjoyed.  We will never be back.

Grossly Disappointing

A disapointment! Rooms very very basic. As we arrived a bit late (07:00 PM) there was no one in the office. Called a cellphone from the parkinglot which was rather dark. Kept rining till I got an answer after 4 trials. Vague explanation as to where the rooms were with keys waiting. Breakfast was ok..........

Nothing to write home about

We stayed for one night . Very basic accommodation . Everything around showed poor maintenance and lack of care . Related to the price paid - much overrated . 
The only good thing was the breakfast next morning

Living in the 60 -s

This was the third time I've visited in the last 10 years. They keep improving and making things better every time I visit, but one thing they haven't changed! Breakfast! Holy moly - There's food up the wazoo. Everything is freshly cut, from salads to cheeses, different kinds of eggs, baked goods, coffee, tea, you name it it is there!
The Suite room we got had its own deck, facing the green lawn, surrounded by flowers, trees, and a very pastoral feeling.
Everything seemed like in slow motion in the kibutz. 
The Suite was not expensive at $120 per night, including the breakfast. For those who want to travel in the north, this is a very easy spot for a base. Akko, Naharia, and Haifa are all minutes away and the Lebanon border to the north is a 20 minutes drive.
Highly recommended.

A great place in the northwest

We spent three nights and stayed in what is supposed to be the better/ preferred rooms. The rooms where ok with only the basic need met.

The poor part was the food. After reading the reviews they had online we were not less then shocked by the poor and dull food including the presentation of food and the service which was really bad- nothing you would expect from a Kibbutz.

The place is managed by out siders and the kibbutz it self doesn't care if you didn't like the place or food or the service- go somewhere else!


Not a good choice 

We recently stayed at Bait v'Kait for three nights.  I will start with the positives. The room was very nice, breakfast was excellent with a huge assortment of salads and cheeses, and the staff were overall very pleasant. There is also plenty to see on the Kibbutz itself. However, there were a few minor things that need to be looked at. Overall we though that the price we paid for our three night stay was high for what we received. The room was nice but the bathroom needs an update. The reception we received on arrival was a little frosty and we were not given any specific ideas as to where to go for an evening meal that night (the ladies in the reception the next day were much more friendly). The swimming pool needs a lick of paint. Finally, breakfast on Friday and Saturday was very good. On Sunday morning it turned out that we were the only guests! Breakfast was, understandably, very much reduced. The salads offered were far from fresh and we had to ask for something to drink. I understand that it is not reasonable to expect a full breakfast bar when there are not many guests, but then we should have been offered a reduction in the price we paid. We liked Bait v'Kait but hope they will improve a few things before our next visit.
