My wife and I are heading home after a glorious 5 day stay at the Astral Marius Elat Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the many personsl touches. The hotel had laid out a lovely welcome buffet of hot and cold beverages, pastries , snack foods and assorted bouekas. The double room included a small balcony with a view of the ocesn and featured a fridge, coffee machine and a couch. The queen size bed had the right level of firmness and the room size was large enough to not feel claustrophobic for 5 days. The pool was very pleasant and there were plenty of chaise lounges, chairs and even pool beds. All tte staff were friendly and accommodating especially the executive chef, David Bitton who made sure to provide a delicious and plentiful choice of foods both for the daily breakfasts and suppers. A lobby self serve refreshment station had assorted hot beverages and a constant supply of cold water..An ccasional surprise soup bar was a nice mid afternoon touch. Finally, tge location could have been anti better, just a short walk to the beachfront and promenade and the Azrieli Mall for duty free shopping.
