We had a great stay here for 6 nights, using Tel Aviv as a base to explore. The rooms are decent sized, and the staff was extremely friendly. The location can't be beat, central to the city but right on the beach/promenade. We have lots of Marriott status, so we were treated extremely well. Upgraded room (not bigger, but best view), access to the Executive Lounge, 9PM check-out for a midnight flight (truly unheard of and a tremendous perk). The breakfast is included in the rate and is lovely, but super pricey. Walk-ins are 180 Sheckels, or almost $55pp (we found the food to be pricey in Israel wherever we went). We only learned the actual price (it's included in the rate) b/c I made an error when registering on the Marriott site and only put in one guest (always the default, and I've never paid attention to that before). We negotiated a rate of 129 Sheckels for the 2nd guest, so almost $40pp. They claim that this is really the "resort fee", which many hotels now charge. There is a fitness center (which needs updating) and indoor pool, and you can get towels for the beach. The chairs on the beach are public and crowded, but we always found something. The Executive Club was great. We basically had dinner there most nights after long days touring. Wine and other soft drinks, loads of salads, bread, soup, plus rotating hot dishes (no hot food on Friday or Saturday, but it is now open, unlike what is indicated on the hotel website). They should add cold beer to the offerings. We were really happy to have stayed on the beach vs. more in the downtown/city. It was an incredible vibe at every hour of the day or night.
