We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Smadar Inn. The location is fantastic and meant that we could literally walk a few steps to find somewhere to eat our evening meals. Breakfast was good - eggs, salads and bread - but if staying for longer than 2 days, I would expect a change in the menu. Our room, with a small balcony, was lovely but could have done with a better clean before our arrival. The shelves were dusty, as was under the bed, and there were a few places in the bathroom that could have been done better. I would have liked the room to be made up on Friday morning and fresh towels put out to replace the damp ones. It was a nice touch to find a bottle of wine and chocolates in the room. Finally, I enjoyed a swim in the pool a couple of times. The heated water was nice and it was a big plus to find a hotel in the centre of Zichron with a swimming pool. However, like a few places at the hotel, there are tiles missing from the pool itself and the decking badly needs a varnish.
Basically, the place is nice, the staff are friendly but for the high price we paid, it needs a renovation.

Nice place but needs some renovation

Perfect place to stay in Zichron and from which to explore the area. It’s steps from the pedestrian area but incredibly private. 

Just a handful of rooms but with everything you need and tons of lovely touches including the family’s signature wine. 

Speaking of family, the people who run this inn are absolutely lovely! Helpful, friendly, fun to chat with and they serve a fantastic breakfast!

Will definitely be back!

A gem in Zichron

Great little hotel. It is located on Main Street of Zichron- has plenty of onsite parking. The room is spacious and very comfortable- there is nice swimming pool and balcony and areas to sit. The hosts are very helpful and prepare a great breakfast. All good.

Lovely boutique hotel

This is no doubt the ultimate place to stay in Zichron Yaakov.  Absolutely suberb.
Right in the middle of town within walking distance to almost the entire city. Lovely lovely family looking after you.  Levels above anything else we have tied in the area.

Absolutey superb

We stayed here Friday and Saturday night over the Shabbat. Large comfortable room. Bottle of wine included. Walking distance to restaurants open on Shabbat- no worries. After a hot day at Akko, the pool was fantastic to relax and reinvigorate. 
We did a wine tasting and enjoyed the wine and the knowledge of the vintner. Bought some Carignan for the road. All reds there- good stuff- small production winery. 
Location excellent for sights in Galilee.  

Delightful two day stay

After a very hectic period in my life, my partner and I booked a few days at Smadar Inn and Winery.
What an absolute delight!
The room was exactly, but exactly as shown in the picture on the website. Large, spacious, old European style (big) bed and furniture, a small balcony for 2, large bathroom, excellent!
A small but lovely swimming pool, nobody used it but us, so we had our own private pool.
Motti and Smadar who run the inn are fantastic!, Friendly,helpful, full of stories about their family (very old in Zichron), thier winery and more. For 50NIS you get to taste all their wines.
Their wines are fantastic! I recommend the Petit Verdot, what a taste!
Did I mention yet that no children under 18 are allowed in? I would even recommend to leave the older kids at home as well. Just go their for a well deserved rest and quiet and even though there is a lot to see in Zichron Ya'akov, we hardly left the room. Just quiet and relaxation with a glass of good wine!

Relax.....

Smadar is a professional, friendly and warm hostess. The room was immaculate and the view was beautiful. The room was topped with goodies (the house wine, cookies, chocolate, coffee capsules and machine, a mini fridge with milk and water bottles) and some nice soaps. It was clean and luxurious. The breakfast was delicious and Smadar shared with us the fascinating history of her family in Zichron. The pool is long (great for laps) and heated. The location is perfect, and parking is free and available. Priced very reasonably considering it’s high standard.

A great bed and breakfast!

Nice that the rooms are set back away from street and they are large, clean rooms with nice amenities. Breakfast included as well. Room was clean and comfortable. Very very close to Main Street in town. Town is adorable and great way to spend day. We arrived late at night and they left the key for us at reception. They also arranged the night before for a cab to take us to the train station at 6am. (Train is maybe a five minute ride! ). Pool is pretty and warm with chairs to sit around it. 
A little hard to wheel suitcases to rooms as it is over gravel rock vs paved street. Otherwise highly recommend!

Cute inn

Smadar Inn has lovely, comfortable, spacious rooms, an incredible breakfast, excellent complimentary wine—all in a great location. Very friendly staff and owner. I wish we’d had more time there to enjoy the pool.

Beautiful Zichron Yaakov Inn

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for 6 days and had a beautiful room with all the amenities--a large room, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, wood floors, and very clean accommodations. The breakfast was delicious, including fresh orange juice, eggs any way you'd like, Israeli salad, tahina, rolls, butter, tuna fish salad, cheeses, and coffee or tea. This was our second stay there, and we definitely will go again. In addition, the B&B is located steps away from the main street in Zichron Yaacov.
