Vincenzo and his wife were most accomodating hosts. In addition to welcoming us upon check in...Vincenzo's wife even re-heated my sisters leftover pasta lunch in a pan (no microwave here!). It was a great stay...rooms are large and the bed was comfy. For the price, it is an incredible value (2 rooms were less expensive than a triple at the Grand Hotel). We contemplated staying at the Grand Hotel but their snobby attitude and failure to respond to emails really turned us off. They won't let you drink at the bar unless your a guest! Vincenzo runs a much more "customer oriented" environment....maybe because your dealing with the owner as opposed to hired help! Highly recommend...just get good directions as it's close to the Terme but a little tricky to find for newbies! Breakfast was great also!
