We stayed overnight in this b&b, they assigned us the ground floor apartment, almost perfect, excellent cleaning and breakfast on the terrace, it would take more care in the adjacent garden and the kitchen stoves were all broken and so we couldn't use the kitchen!!!!

A relaxing holiday

We stayed for three nights in August. BB located 20 Mt from the beach. The owners (so we believe) are very kind, courteous and available. Clean and spacious room. Great breakfast, abundant and served on a terrace directly overlooking the sea. The structure unfortunately (at least for us) is located near the main square of the village which after dinner is assaulted by young teenagers and 20 teenagers. Difficulty therefore to park the car (even 30 minutes to find a place) and also a lot of noise due to the nearby presence of locals with loud music.

Good solution, but with some handicaps.

A couple of steps from the beach, you'll find this comfortable b&b. The room and even the bathroom next door have been cleaned up.

Work trip

The accommodation they assigned to us was a ground floor room in front of the street and adjacent to the reception. In addition to the traffic noise we heard the voices of customers, phone calls etc. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a beautiful panoramic view but the hot drinks come from an automatic distributor.

Some doubling.

Given that I have stayed in this facility in a season now completed, I have found pros and cons. Certainly the location is strategic: perfect for 2 nights and visiting the Valley of the Temples (4 km) and Spiaggia Scala dei Turchi (8 km). We have had no problems with placement, San Leone was practically a desert despite the beautiful end of season days, but I can't guarantee information for the months of July and August. The facility is in the middle, a bit anonymous with furnishings are essential, everything is still very practical (in line with what we were looking for), even close to the beach.

Comfortable in a strategic position with something to review.

B and B are generally noisy. Room number 4 is too small and the bathroom is old-fashioned. Breakfast is anything but average quality. There are too many rooms on the same level.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Sicily in 2011.  We had been to visit the valley of temples in Agrigento and booked a BnB on the beachfront in San Leone.  However, on reaching there, the place was nowhere to be found and no connectiviy either.  After walking for hours and searhing 100s of places, we found a smiling face at Sabbia d'Oro who to our delight, also spoke engish.  This lady not just offered us the room at a great value, but also gave tips for the tiny towns nightlife, and also tips on the food and where we could get discounts.  And the place was right at the beach front with a faboulous view.  Overall, an amazing stay with really helpful hosts of the BnB.  Would recommend it more than the expensive hotels in town.

Life Saver in SanLeone

If you are going to Agrigento to see the temples, stay in San Leone instead, as it is close by cheaper than Agrigento and has a beach. The rooms were good sized and clean. Interior and bathroom a little bit on the worn side, but totally clean, so it didn't matter to us. Wi-fi worked ok for me, but not in our friend's room. Some rooms have balconies, some don't. Great breakfast up on the roof terrace with croissants, cakes, bread and rolls, ham, cheese and several types of jam. Coffe, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Really felt we got our money's worth at this place. Effective but nice staff. Parking was free and available just outside. San Leone is a sleapy bech town, but with everything you need; aperitivo bars, some restaurants, and a gelateria.

Value for money!

God! It's a wonderful place. I recommend it to everyone. The beach across the road is great. It's very beautiful. Not far from Agrigento, the breakfast is super unlike the usual Italian, the rooms are very clean, the Polish lady, as we understand, a very nice woman. She's nice. I'd love to come again.

I'm not going to lie.

It is located on the second lane, directly opposite the beach. Clean rooms, delicious breakfasts for Italian hotels (breakfast on the balcony with a good view of the sea. Very pleasant and caring hosts, told about all the sights around. Wi-Fi is dragging in the rooms. Especially good room on the second floor with a balcony on the street. In the evenings after 9 o'clock young people walk nearby to the square, but we didn't mind, they closed the door on the balcony and turned on the air conditioner and everything was comfortable and quiet for us. Thanks to the hosts for the warm reception!
