this place is run by the charming Brunella who was most hospitable and took care of all of our needs. she offered us free cold drinks and great advice regarding our visit. she helped us find parking nearby. The rooms are very nice, large, new and clean. the place is in the historic center close to the Duomo. we spent once night there and it was very nice.

surprisingly excellent

I can but echo what other people have written. We were both bowled over by the place - an enormous, beautifully decorated room, almost a suite. Brunella is brilliant. If I have to criticise anything the breakfast in an adjacent bar was a bit lacking - hardly Brunella's fault. She supplied lashings of Italian coffee, water and even beer if you liked.

Beyond Recommended

The B&B is in the old center of Agrigento. The host, Brunella, was very helpful and giving good advice for where to eat or what to see when. The room which we had was very spacious. When coming by car, there is plenty of free parking available within 20-50m from the B&B. Due to Covid breakfast could not be served in the B&B. We had it in a bar just around the corner where we could enjoy the nice Sicilian sweets.

Nice B&B in old center of Agrigento with friendly host

The B&B is conveniently located near the Duomo and the shopping / restaurant quarter of Agrigento. The owner is friendly, helpful and provided many useful tips on where to eat. The building is clean and was recently renovated so it looks modern inside. Breakfast choices are somewhat limited (pastries/cakes, cheese and cold cuts, and one choice of cereal). If you're not a meat eater than you're going to be eating cakes for breakfast everyday. (But offering sweet pastries and cakes for breakfast seems to a common practice for most B&Bs in Sicily). There is no reserved parking. But if you get there before the rush hours you should be able to secure a free parking spot on one of the streets near the property. The room is spacious, but there's almost no provision for storage. The bathroom is tiny and has no shelf or counter to place toiletries. If you're taller than 5' 2", watch out for the ceiling lamps that hang quite low in the bedroom and the small dining room .

Spacious apartment, convenient location

Our trip to Sicily was a combination of business and pleasure.  Not having visited Agrigento for many years, we took a day off from visiting family to explore this lovely city. Luckily we stumbled upon this quant, lovely establishment at the top of the historical center. We made a great choice. Brunella the proprietor was absolutely charming. She's put her heart into creating a comfortable home away from home for her guests. We found the room tastefully furnished, clean, and spacious. Brunella was a font of information and indicated many restaurants and places of interest to visit. Breakfast was typically Italian so do not expect a big English/American breakfast, which is the way it should be. I want to point out that there are some old photos of this establishment from the previous owners still floating around the Internet. As stated above, Brunella has done a wonderful job remodelling. The rooms are very large, extremely clean and comfortable. The position is perfect for exploring the old historic center.  Highly recommended!!

DOWN-TO-EARTH ELEGANCE IN THE OLD CITY CENTER

The better, more modern photos are what you will find here. Very clean and newly decorated rooms which were very comfortable. You will also be well looked after. Good value for money compared to other cities we went to in Sicily. One drawback: hot water did not last for two showers but only one. I would return.

Nice location in the heights of the city, large room, very helpful staff (suggested many things to visit, very passionnate and obviously proud of his region). Tasty breakfast with pastries, fruit! Clean. Recommended!

Good

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and baby daughter. It's located in walking distance to the main piazzas and all the restaurants although be prepared for an energetic walk as the roads are steep and it's at the top of the town (if you have a baby we recommend a carrier rather than pushchair due to lack of paths). The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, despite our lack of Italian he endeavoured to recommended shops, resturants and things to do. Room was good and breakfast was always filling, if a little cream heavy. The parking is a little difficult but generally managed to find a space near by. As parents with a push chair it's also important to know that there are stairs as soon as you walk in so I would leave it in the car or fold it down. I would recommend this b&b for short stays at great value.
