close to the beach (5 minutes walking), clean, comfortable, splendid wiev, natural reserve, close enough to everything. Car needed.
Cons
As it is a natural reserve it is not easy to reach by pubblic transport

What a wonderful experience, greeted by the family offered drinks, and tour of the house as well as a guide of the area and a recommendation of where to eat. Very clean and friendly, would recommend this place and what a great spread for breakfast.

And very diverse breakfast! Room was clean and very purple, there was even a mini fridge. A 15 minute ride from Agrigento away, perfect for a relaxed holiday.

Cozy and friendly

We stayed on April 11th and 12th 2015 in B&B Vita with two couples. The reception and hospitality was very warm. The family cooked for us dinner, which was great because we arrived after a travel day and the nearest restaurant is 5km away. The house is at the seafront, and you have from the rooms on the first floor a beautiful view. The rooms were complete (comfortable beds) and the bathroom was new. One of the badrooms has a large corner bath. The breakfast is typical Italian and for us as North-Europeans a bit too sweet, with more cookies than bread. If you like a nice almost private beach, at a distance of mass tourism and not too far from Agrigento, we can really recommend this B&B. The welcome of the family Vita (in Italian, French, Spanish and a bit English) was memorable.By the way, this special nice location was twice easily found with our GPS.

A warm welcome and fantastic views

I stayed at B&B Vita for 1 night on 24 Aug 2014 (booked triple room at EUR70 on Bkg.com but only 2 of us staying).  The guest rooms are on level one of a large, old private home and you share the entrance and living room areas.  The photos on Booking.com were very deceptive as they show the newly refurbished driveway and entrance but the building is very old.  The guest rooms however were in good condition with renovated bathrooms.  You shared the balcony with the other guests (bamboo partition) but you could hear their conversations and the cigarette smoke wafts right in your room as if they were in the room with you. 

This B&B is in a very remote area approx. 6km from main tourist/busy San Leone beach area and approx. 13km from Agrigento centre.  It was very hard to find and GPS did not work.  There are no shops, bars, cafes or restaurants nearby.  I expect there is no public transport on the SP71 road (small main road).  You need to drive down a rough, narrow road to get there.  I do NOT suggest you try to do this at night.  Signage is limited to hand-painted sign saying Via Gaetano Carrano in red paint on a wall.  The exact location on the map is actually Punta Bianca.  There are several other holiday homes in the area and there is a bush track that takes you approx. 400m down to a desolate (but beautiful) beach.  

All in all, not my favourite place.  I don't like staying in someone else's home.  The Owners however where very hospitable and it was OK for 1 night when you are on a very VERY tight budget and just passing through by car.  The beach area from San Leone to Scala dei Turchi/Villa Romana is seriously expensive in summer - hardly a room under EUR90 a double.  Honestly, I suggest you stay in Agrigento for the same price; you can have a great B&B for same money.  It was VERY easy to find our way into the Agrigento city centre, we easily found parking in a very large car park adjacent to the train station and could walk everywhere from there.  

Agrigento was a fantastic surprise - I been to Sicily 6 times and never stopped there before.  It is so much MORE than just Valley of the Temples nearby.  The main street of Via Atenea was alive and buzzing with lots of great shops and cafes.  Suggest you stay in town and then just drive 6km down to the beach if you want a day down there.  You could easily spend 3 days there and include Valley of the Temples visit.
