Agropoli was our first stop after visiting Naples on our way to Sicily. What a contrast!  Naples is great but Agropoli is beautiful and the Hibiscus is close to the castle and the main street and square and a few minutes away from the beaches.

Antonio very kindly (and unexpectedly!) picked us up from the station and his wife Marisa served the most delicious and filling breakfasts in a gazebo in the beautiful garden in the mornings.  After the hurly burly of Naples, this was a welcome place to calm down and see another side of Italy.

The room was clean and very comfortable and I'd throughly recommend staying here.

Beautiful and friendly

Arrived late but still received a generous welcome from host Antonio. Whilst we only stayed one night we found the location convenient for exploring the Agropoli centro storico. Our room was spacious and traditional with a pleasant view over the garden and towards the hills. Awoke to church bells ringing and a delicious breakfast that was served on a sunny terrace, complete with home made jam. Antonio is a font of knowledge on the local area and recommended a beautiful local beach (<5 mins drive / 20 min walk) where we spent several hours. We certainly intend to return one day to explore more of the region, which includes several UNESCO world heritage sites

Very comfortable and welcoming

My husband and I have stayed at this delightful B&B several times and would not hesitate  recommending this to anyone visiting the Cilento region of Southern Italy. It is ideally located in the 'Centro Storico'- the 'Old town' of Agropoli. A warm reception awaits you in the form of Antonio Landolfi who makes you feel instantly 'at home'. The rooms are spacious and clean and if there is anything you require during your stay, you have only to ask Antonio, who will do his very best to assist.
Breakfast is served outside on the terrace, weather permitting, and consists of a selection of cakes and pastries, fresh bread and sometimes Antonio treats you to one of his homemade jams- lovely!

A B&B like no other! A warm and friendly reception awaits.....

My wife and I had another lovely stay at Hibiscus. Antonio is a wonderful host who always makes you feel very welcome.
I would strongly recommend a stay here - the location is perfect, in the historic centre and a 5 min walk to the centre of Agropoli. Breakfast is freshly prepared, hospitality excellent!
