Situated on the busy pedestrian street San Anselmo, this is a hotel in a very old cavern-like building. The hotel is well laid out (no elevator), well restored, but in the end nothing special, apart from its location. No airco needed. The general parking is some 200 m away, so you have to walk to the hotel.
Nice, but nothing special, as one might expect from the price (€ 220).
Take your breakfast at the central piazza, unless you can manage the wide selection of the breakfast.

Maison Bondaz is located in the heart of the old town of Aosta, this is really awsome.
This accomodation islead by Family Bondaz, very symphatic, helpful and friendly family. The breakfast is realy pleasurable.

Great accommodation with a symphatic familiary atmosphere

Room was okay, not fabulous. Mold on the bathroom walls. We stayed at nicer places in the area for a lot less. The proprietors are busy with their family, farm and other projects. Don't expect breakfast. Don't expect to find anyone in reception--ever. Don't expect to have any questions answered. Don't expect polite discussion. Do expect to get spoken to harshly when you arrive. Do expect to be slapped with an additional tax when you leave. Do expect mysterious additional fees if you arrive after whatever their arrival hours are, which they don't tell you.

Don't expect any customer service

We have spent one night in Maison Bondaz while driving to Souther Italy. The hotel is located in the heart of Aosta and it’s an old building from 1700. Our room was great, clean and fully equipped. 

The hotel is run by a super sweet family. I totally recommend this hotel. 

Lovely family-run hotel

They made us feel as family. Vacated their garage for my car. Excellent in every way.  Very nice location and building.  You walk out right in the middle of Aosta. The building has been restructured with great care of details and in agreement with the character of the surrounding environment. Great breakfast. Cooked fresh, with abundant top quality local products, such as cheeses and cold cuts. Not to mention the daily prepared bakery cakes and sweets. 

Holiday with Joanne

Located in the heart of the charming town, the B&B is an 18th-century structure that has been thoughtfully renovated by the multi-generation family that runs it. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony. Breakfast the next morning was prepared to order and was delicious and abundant. The online reservation form on their website doesn't work, but we contacted them by email. 

They offer secure parking in a garage just a couple of blocks away. We were supposed to meet them at the garage, but couldn't find it. We ended up driving down the pedestrian-only street to the B&B. We arrived a bit frazzled, but they took care of everything and got us settled in.

Great location, comfortable stay

A magical stay in a charming place! While booking out trip to Aosta Valley we were looking for a quiet place to accommodate our family, away from touristic noise and expecting quite simple pleasures to be experienced through our stay and finally a place conveniently close to Pila ski slopes facilities. So we got very easy booking directly with owners, Bondaz Family - very nice, decent and hard working intellectuals always ready to meet you with a smile on their face. The house is even more impressive than it looks on the photos. Your senses will get pampered during breakfast with a great prime quality selection of genuine Valdostan products accompanied by an impressive array or organic # bio 'gems' which are coming directly from Bondaz's family farm situated on the nearby village hills. Rooms are impeccably clean and quiet while being very gently decorated, while the property is conveniently placed within the historic center of Aosta, also within 5 minutes driving distance of ski cable-way to Pila. Parking garages belonging to property are conveniently settled within 2 minutes walking from the dwelling and should be conveniently booked with the owners before arrival. One will actually find himself immersed quickly in Bondaz family's very pleasant chats themes over Aosta Valley heritage to local history and traditions, gourmand meals and surroundings. The only regret you will have is not staying longer. A big thank you Maison Bondaz!

Amazing experience!

We had a fabulous holiday staying at this beautiful little boutique hotel.  Family run and Laurent was there to meet us and helpfully provided a free parking space for a few days and escorted my husband there and helped with our bags.  We had a gorgeous room in a recently renovated but still classic part  of the hotel with a vaulted bathroom and exposed beams with the bedroom.  Very quiet but great location very close to lovely restaurants and bars.  We didn't have breakfast there as we were skiing so left to go up to Pila resort but the breakfast looked great and the room smelt delicious!
