Do not miss staying at this beautiful property!!  The villa is beautiful throughout. Photos are accurate and up to date. Stunning!  The villa is well appointed. Beautiful furnishings and linens. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. The pool was delightful in the heat of the summer. AC was much appreciated.  The grounds are lovely. We took morning walks amongst the vineyards. Two members of our family are runners and enjoyed their morning runs into the surrounding forests.  Iacopo and staff are perfect hosts. Iacopo was always available to answer any questions. Do not miss the dinner they offer for guests at their two villas!  One of the highlights of our trip to Italy!  There are a few menus. We chose the "meat lovers" menu. The dinner included tour of the winery and wine tasting. You will not be disappointed.  Do not hesitate to book this beautiful property!  

A true Gem!

The “official’ wine tour was full, so we were offered a tasting in the garden. Hence we spent a very enjoyable hour tasting one rose & two reds - all of high quality… in beautiful surroundings.  Thank you Lacopo, for being so welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend.

A Super Wine Tasting 

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to stay at this villa in Arezzo. The facilities were to a very high standard and the scenery and views are breathtaking. We sampled some very nice wine from the vineyard and enjoyed the tour.

Fantastic villa and vineyard

This place is so unique in that it is so beautiful and scenic on the outside and on the inside is is equally beautiful and so modern, with every convenience. So many of these villlas are stuck with plumbing from the 19th century and crumbling walls, this one is so comfortable and modern that it is so easy to stay there. 

Additionally, the activities, the staff and the wine are incredible. A walk through this lovely place alone makes me want to come back over and over again.

Slice of Heaven!

We were a large family group and so had the place to ourselves. We were made to feel welcome and treated like guests in your home. The wine and food pairings were tasty and the presentation was informative. Beautiful views over the countryside to sit and enjoy. A great afternoon.

Wine as it should be enjoyed.

A wonderful surprise within minutes from the historical center of Arezzo! I have visited many wineries and Podere di Pomaio was a wonderful experience. 
Giovanna was a very knowledge and friendly guide for the tour of the winery and the tasting. I learned things from here I hadn’t in many past winery tours. The winery is on a beautiful hillside with amazing views. The property also has villas to rent which I look forward to experiencing on a future visit. 

A Wonderful time at Podere Di Pomaio green winery.

We were a group of 3 families that stayed for 2 weeks and absolutely loved our stay. The villa itself is stunning with six fantastic bedrooms all of which with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchens were both really well equipped but given it was summer we spent most of our time cooking in the lower kitchen with its ease of access to the table outside. The outside areas were perfect and we ( especially our kids) loved the large pool area. As many others have highlighted the location of the villa is great with incredible views of Arezzo and the surrounding countryside and spectacular sunsets. Iacopo and Giovanna were fantastic hosts and always on hand to answer any queries. 
We made the most of the vineyard location and booked the excellent wine tour and cookery class. We also had a number of meals on the tasting room all of which were fantastic, reasonably priced and it was great to be able to just stroll back to the villa afterwards. 
All in all a fantastic holiday and no doubt we will be back one day.

Perfect Tuscan holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at the Podere Il Pomaio winery. Villa La Leopoldina is simply wonderful. The villa has been renovated by the owners with great sensitivity and style. The large rooms have wonderful beds and spacious bathrooms.
The location of the villa is sensational. Located directly in the vineyards and with a magnificent view of the city of Arezzo. Especially in the evening you can't get enough of the view of Arezzo.
And the sunsets here are simply magnificent. The pool and the pool area are generously sized, offer a lot of privacy and are very well maintained.
I would especially like to mention the welcome dinner provided on the day of arrival. This is really a great idea and service of the hosts, if you do not want to shop and cook or look for a restaurant after a long journey.
And of course the self service for the wine in the villa. Perfect!
The cooking class offered is also highly recommended. And of course the wine tasting.

Wonderful Villa La Leopoldina

This was our second stay at this beautiful villa.  The location is perfect,  the villa is impeccable.   The wine and food-amazing!   The owner and staff are lovely and accommodating.  I would recommend to anyone.

Three hours of visit, tour, and wine tasting with delicious accompaniment. Beautiful venue. Knowledgeable guide with excellent English (she speaks Italian, of course, and French, Spanish, and Portuguese).  It was an outing to remember.
