I spent 3 days hiking on the local lake at Casale Baltera. In addition to clean rooms, very friendly hosts and a great breakfast, I got a great tip from the host mountain guide on a further trip to Monte Rosa. The entrance to the property is a bit bumpy - it's best to ask the coordinates of the hosts in advance for access. Thank you very much - I'll be back!

Wonderful 3 days in the charming Casale Baltera

A very nice B&B can only be recommended further! The rooms are clean and very good in size. Everything is very friendly and comfortable. Whoever wants to be quiet will come here. Paradise with nature and bird-watching. Just to recommend!!!

Great view, quiet, very clean! Price performance top!

We spent two nights in this beautiful b&b. It's great for those looking for a place truly immersed in its natural context and who have no problem getting a mile of dirt (I have a panda). It's not easy to find a place so far off the tracks but at the same time so close to the main road.

How he wants to come back.

We stayed for two nights before February, a lovely place, with very kind owners to make us feel at home, always ready to give us advice on what to do and where to eat.

A fairy tale

Once you reach the Casale Baltera, you want to stay there permanently. The views are picturesque, the atmosphere of the house is open, warm and full of Italian joy. Here we enjoyed every moment, from the super delicious breakfast to the good excursion tips. A week was too short, we will be back!

That's great!

This B&B is a place where you can feel at home. The couple is friendly, they both speak French very well. The room was spacious, the wifi worked well. It was clean. The breakfast was plenty, with a very good coffee, quality bread, and everything you need to approach the day in shape. The house is in the middle of the country. It's very quiet. The only bemool is access, especially since the weather conditions had made the road worse one kilometer: you can imagine that it must be very complicated for a small car. Otherwise, it's between Lake Orta and Lake Maje. So it's very convenient.

A warm place

A very quiet and peaceful location in the countryside outside Armeno. The B&B is remote located, only accessable by car through a very small and bumpy road. Friendly hosts, well structured rooms, nice views over the mountains and a part of lake Orta. Very interesting surroundings with a lot of things to see and do (if you have a car). Breakfast was good, but could be improved by adding some eggs, cheese or ham/sausages. Overall a very nice stay. 

Quiet, friendly and peaceful 

Thanks to Marisa and Francesco for their attention, but be careful, our room was under their apartment, so there may be noise, and the dirt road to the house is long for those driving a Ferrari.

Simple and easy to use

The B&B is soaked in greenery and silence. It is ideal for those who want to take a relaxing break. The breakfast is varied and rich with some homemade products (great kiwi jam!). Clean and equipped with everything necessary. Marisa and Francesco are super welcoming and available to give advice on places to visit in the vicinity. The location is excellent: you can enjoy peace and tranquility and, at the same time, you can get to Orta by car in 10 minutes.

An Oasis of Peace

We needed 3 days of complete relaxation, since we like the lake we decided to go to the garden, but not to spend the night in the center and on the internet we found ourselves in this wonderful house. We couldn't have had a better choice: - 10 minutes by car from the garden, 20 from Omegna - immersed in the woods where you only hear the noises of nature and everywhere you look you see only green green. - Great Italian breakfast rich in genuine and healthy food, especially great breakfast in the company of fantastic owners who make you really feel at home.
