A lovely quiet place, with the sweetest hosts. The best part was definitely the excellent homemade breakfast, surrounded by different fruit trees. Definitely recommend a tour at the little salt museum close by - very interesting to hear about the traditions. 

Authentic nice little place!

Operated by a couple and a daughter who were very gracious and welcoming! Located among many trees-olives, apples, limes, pomegranates to name a few. Breakfast was extraordinary- all homemade Sicilian delicacies. Great cappuccino! It was a wonderful stay and located near the salt pans-very interesting. I would love to stay there again! It was our first stop in Sicily and they made it very memorable and enjoyable.

Fantastic Stay with Incredible Breakfast

The whole experience at this b&b was fantastic, and made a lovely change from the tourist traps around Etna on the other side of Sicily! The immediate surrounding area is a bit run down, but the quality of this b&b made it worthwhile. 

The hosts were unbelievably welcoming, and the rooms were well furnished, clean and homely. However, the breakfast was the star of the show. Amazing quality and huge quantity - homemade pastries and cakes, bread, jams, fruit, and fortunately any leftovers could be packed up for lunch! My favourite cannoli from the whole holiday was from breakfast here. Would definitely recommend!

Unbeatable breakfast

Driving through the nearby villages on route to this B&B I was worried about what we might find, 'surely all the reviews can't have been wrong' I thought.  Then you arrive and realise all the reviews are right and your worries are for nothing!

The house and gardens are perfectly maintained, smart and beautiful. We were warmly greeted by the family, who took great care in settling us in and telling us about the local area.  Ironically, this is the only thing that really lets it down. While Erice and Lo Capo beach are nice enough, Trapani is not and the immediate surrounding area (excluding the actual salt flats) is a bit grotty.  However, so long as you don't mind driving for dinner/sightseeing or just want a remote B&B based break this place is perfect.

Back to the good points (ie. everything else). The rooms are spacious, clean, light and comfortable while the views of Erice and the salt flats from the top floors are breathtaking. All amenities (wifi/aircon/plugs) work faultlessly and the bathrooms, while small, do the job well. However, the best is yet to come.

Breakfast. Wow. All home made, from the marmalade to the canoli, featuring fruit grown in and picked from the garden you are sitting in. Just generally absolutely delicious. Coffee is great and you can takeaway anything you can't finish for lunch. 

The overwhelming sense of pride in the food and hospitality is palpable, making for a truly excellent experience. I can't recommend it enough.

Amazing

We stayed here 4 nights and it couldn’t have been better.  The family grows their own fruit and vegetables, makes their own olive oil and marmalades, bakes their own pastries and puts out a breakfast you can’t imagine.  The cheese and tomato panini, the homemade, regional pastries, the fresh-squeezed orange juice and delicious cappuccino and caffe americano are all to die for. The room was very quiet and very comfortable. The proximity of the salt ‘farms’ and WWF sites were welcome.  Michael and Maria and daughter were most gracious!

An oasis!

I must say this was a very nice experience.  Michele and his wife do their best to satisfy their clients.  Fresh breakfast preparation is done in house from their typical produce.  Oranges was our specialty of the day and believe me it was mouth watering; with a mix of ricotta, oranges, bread and sweet pastry.  Parking is conveniently just outside the room.

Charmful stay around the salt pans.

Bed and breakfast located in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature, the famous Saline and the silence. You can reach this place easily by car. Very comfortable rooms, equipped with all the necessary. Breakfast is simply to die for!! We had ricotta cheese cake, parfait, mandarins, oranges juice, toast, sandwich with tomatoes and cheese, etc. etc...it was never ending!! The owner is  very friendly and helpful, he also gave us lemons and tangerines from their garden to take with us: beautiful! . The accommodation is completely immersed in nature, but still just a few kilometers from Trapani and Erice, as well as various restaurant. It would an ideal place to stay if you want to visit this part of Sicily. We will definitely return, maybe not in the winter but with the heat of the summer!!
