Stayed here for 4 nights at beginning of October 2018, 3 adults and 1 kid - the apartment was large enough to accommodate us. The rustic furniture, well maintained, is matching very well with the location.
This place offered us exactly what we needed: a good breakfast and coffee necessary to start our trips through Toscana and a relaxing, quiet place for recovery at the end of a full day.
In fact, my biggest regret was that I did not spend more time in this beautiful area, hopefully I will return here and explore it in more details.
I went twice early in the morning for jogging and enjoyed it a lot, it is a pleasure to run in this rich scenery.
First evening we had dinner at Montecorbolli, very good home made food (done by Vanessa using their own or local products) and nice presentation done by Martina. Offered Chianti (own production) paired well with the food.
Enjoyed also the sweet Vinsanto served with cantuccini. I’ve learned here also a new delicious match, pecorrino with honey :-)
Martina, which was handling the “customer interface” is very lovely, has good hints for you if needed and speaks a very good English. I can only assume that Vanessa is a wonderful person too but we did not interact enough, but for sure she cooks well.
In case you want to explore other options for dinner, there are options available also nearby in San Donato, two more then decent restaurants and one pizzeria.
I highly recommend this place, it is well situated between different major attractions from Toscana or around (Firenze, Siena, San Giminiagno, Pisa, Val d’Orcia, Cinque Terre, ...), the place itself is beautiful and the hosts are great.
The only drawback is the necessity of a car and the 1km dirt road to reach the place – done this road more then 10 times in 4 day and it is not a real problem, just not to drive a Ferrari or something similar :-)
Looking forward to go back, for this place and also for Toscana, we enjoyed it but saw just a small part of it.

A place to return

We had an absolute amazing authentic Tuscany stay at this spectacularly charming medieval house. We stayed for a week and we felt it was too short! We easily could have stayed for a few more weeks! The hosts Martina and Vanessa were exceptionally welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Their cooking was exquisite and they offer a daily gourmet dinner cuisine. We really enjoyed the traditional Italian breakfasts and coffees! Mostly everything is homemade, using their very own ingredients grown at their property. Vanessa, the head chef is an excellent cook!! They are also very vegan and vegetarian friendly if need be, which was amazing for us :)
 
The panoramic views of the rolling hills of Chianti with vineyards and olive groves were delightful to gaze upon each day from our windows. At night, you can see twinkling lights from distant towns along with a full lit starlight night sky. The property is very peaceful, charming, well-kept and well organized. The road leading up to the property off the main street is magical surrounded with mossy trees and mesmerizing views of the hills. 
 
We loved our beautifully decorated apartment. We loved everything about it from the antique furniture, to our charming and comfortable bed, to the perfect kitchen setup and our dining room table. The bathroom and shower were state of the art and very clean with hot water!
 
They also have a wonderful dog on the property along with an enchanting cat :)
 
If you are looking for the authentic Toscana and Chianti experience, then this is the place to stay! They are a 10+++ and if we could give them a higher rating, we would!

Exceptional!! An amazing authentic Chianti experience!!

Staying here was like a beautiful dream.  Gorgeous views, wonderful aromas and amazing flavors of various fruits and veggies to pick right off the tree/plant.  We really enjoyed using the large kitchen to cook in and to make coffee daily in the Moka pot.  Everything was super clean and very comfortable.  “Jack” Iacopo was a wonderful and gracious host and served us the most wonderful dinner.  This was a true vacation – being away from it all (but we still had wifi access).  There were many cute towns nearby to visit – one being San Gimignano, which was an hour away and such a quaint, old town.

The Possible Dream!

We really fell in love with this place! First we've been here while our trip through the tuscany for two nights and after two more nights in another host, we came back for 4 more nights because we missed this place! Enjoy this lovely family and this charming farm with its great view!
The breakfast may be just with sweet stuff  (but you'll get some other sweet special feature like a handmade cake or joghurt) but you also can bring your own stuff like bacon or cheese and put it in your fridge there.
Dinner there costs 25€ per Person but it's absolutely worth it!!!
But one of the best things is, that there are just 3 appartements so it is always quiet and no place with plenty of tourists :)
We will come back again! Thanks for that relaxing stay!


Great to relax and enjoy tuscanian lifestyle

We stayed here for 3 nights at end of May, and couldn't have been happier. Martina and Vanessa were the perfect hosts and were always willing to suggest places and plans and just generally share stories with us, which I loved. Breakfasts were a little sparse (no protein, just bread/cake and juice/coffee/tea) but the location was perfect for day trips out and about, and there's a lot of land to just wander around on and pick cherries from trees if you want to stick nearby. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet vacation in Tuscany.
