We were looking forward to this stay and were not disappointed. It is still run by a small group of Monks but do not let that put you off. It is an experience to enjoy. It is very peaceful and the buildings are slowly being updated but do not let this put you off as the main part incl bedrooms and restaurant have already been updated. The monks made us very welcome. We had to go out to a local restaurant for an evening meal. Breakfast was unsual but I will not influenece your new experience here !
