We spent two weeks in Italy but this was by far the best place we stayed. We speak VERY little Italian and the owners don't speak much more English but communicating with them was a delight, easy, and fun. The setting is very beautiful with great views of Assisi from their wonderful garden. The rooms were great with all the comforts of home. The bathroom was spotless and had all the necessary towels, soaps, shampoos, etc. The breakfast was by far the best we had in Italy and one of the best we've ever had. More home made goodies than we could possibly consume, sandwiches, fresh fruit and home canned fruit. But the best part of our stay was the couple that own the place. They are two of the most welcoming and delightful people I have ever met. It's worth going out of your way to stay here. They also made some very good recommendations for places to see that are not on the main tourist spots.
