It takes you aprox. 10 min. walk from the station to get there, without bags.
The entrance is a little bit hidden but if you follow the instructions, you'll make it.
The rooms  big enough since you don't want to stay all day in them.
The bathroom is nearly as big. Both were spotless clean.
Be aware that there is no parking in the place.
From here it takes you 5 min. to get to vally Station for the "Fomicula" in order to get to old town or you can also walk up the hill.
The breakfast was good. A large variety of continental food with good coffee.
Roberto is the man who makes everything run smooth. Even if you need some advise.
We enjoyed our stay and will be back when we stay in Bergamo.
One small con only, my bed was a bit short and I'm only average tall.

Booked 3 rooms in January for a stay in April.  2 days before our stay they cancelled yet still took payment.  I had booked with Booking.com who were excellent in supporting me.  However it took far too many emails to retrieve my cash.  The way they treated us was terrible, the added stress of finding 3 rooms for a busy weekend so close to our departure date really took the gloss off our holiday.  No apology, just that they had overbooked - so why did they charge my card?

Bonsy Bou or Bonsy Bob?

We were at this hotel for 4 days in early February. The reservation were made via Booking.com. From earlier reviews, we knew that this is a family hotel, and that there are no hitting in room and the room is cold. Since you are not actually staying at the hotel all day, this is not a very significant moment. Until you begin to understand that in addition to this moment, there are a bunch of others, and then the overall impression is not radiant at all. 

1. The main problem is that the owners are smiling sweetly and such kind of people that there is nothing to complain about, but this is all a fraud and illusion. On the second day of my stay, when I got back to the hotel, I found out that our room was not locked, the door was slammed but opened - everyone can go inside while we are our. We were in shock! Since there are no hosts in the evening, the next day in the morning, I told the host lady about the door, I asked who cleaned our room yesterday .. what she said that her son was cleaning and that she checked all the doors and they were closed. I asked her to explain, in that case, how it turned out that our door was not locked, and when we reached it in the evening, it opened only from the attempt to insert the key inside. To which she blatantly replied - I know how to close the door. What is this, anyway? No "sorry about it, we will pay attention", not at all, the reaction was very aggressive, it's like "how dare you ever complain" . This does not correspond at all to their kind and cordial image. 

2 Hot water with interruptions. We could hardly take a shower, it is not enough hot water for the second person. Above the toilet there is a request from the owners not to spend hot water. What kind of hot water exactly? No hot water to spend. 

3. Money for accommodation was withdrawn from my credit card a week before our arrival. In the hotel itself I paid with same card for city taxes. On the third day of our stay in the hotel, as it turned out after the return, the owners canceled my reservation for reason "credit card was not suitable". That same card with which they received money twice safely, and the cancellation was done just in time that we are there. This looks like scam, perhaps they just do not want to pay the interest to the Booking or taxes to their own country. I complained about them to Booking, of course. 

4. Save on everything in general, from breakfast to light in the hallway and dining room. The breakfast must start at 8:30. everything placed in different places, you need to figure our what can you take, and what not. In second breakfast there was almost nothing to eat, after 30 min the host lady came in and bring more food. On the fruit plate there is 2 apples for 8 people, and the apples are looked like one month old, this is destructing. 

In the evening, every time is no light inside at all, entering into the hotel in complete darkness and need to go to the room in that darkness. 

Inside the room there is broken thing here and there. Small bottle of water which you don't know how many days this water is there, same in breakfast, Only 1 tea in the box and that for 2 people, next day they added some more tea.. blue bathrobes in bath room like in hospital. 

After I posted my review in Booking website, the host got nuts, started to send me a lot's of sms messages, but they not mentioned and reservation cancellation, only speaking about how good they are and how pathetic I am. 

I think, in general, the behavior is not kind and healthy at all. This is place in which you can enter and be there only if you not complaining about something, and if you do - they can not tolerate criticism, learn something from the client's reviews, the absolutely sure that their service is 100% good.  Well, not good, sorry. 
I don't buying that goodness while they are deleting my reservation while I am staying at their place., and it's like I never been there, this is one bog LIE!! I am positive that they do this a lot. Perhaps a need to send some letter to Italy tax department and I will do that if those people continue to send me those strange and aggressive messages.

The kingdom of horror and lies

I love this place! Our trip started with troubles...but Roberto met us with so kind smile and hospitality... and we forgot our problems in a moment) We stayed in a red room with private bathroom. There is a clean, comfortable and the most informal accomodation in my life) I was happy when I saw electrical kettle and bathrobe in our room. And I was surprised with Belarussian flag on the table at the breakfast. By the way...the possibility to eat something tasty and drink hot coffee or tea is pretty nice. Thank you, guys! If I go to Bergamo again I choose B&b bonsy bou of course. No doubt! I wish you polite and rich tourists)))

Cosy room with perfect service

We loved our 3-night stay in August 2017.  The best thing about our stay was the wonderful woman who served our breakfast each morning who was covering while the owners were away.  She gave great recommendations and chatted to us in English (while we tried a little Italian!)  The B&B itself has great decor and our room was so spacious with a private bathroom (I know some rooms have external bathrooms).  The thing I loved most about the room was the clothes rail and shelves as there was lots of space and it was easy to keep the place tidy.  We had water and tea in the room and there were glasses in the main reception which we used for wine one evening. 

It was only a 5-minute walk to the funicular into the Old Town and a 10-minute walk into the Centre of the New Town.  We couldn't have asked for a better location in a beautiful town.  It felt like a second home!
