Stayed here for a week in July 2017. The rooms were nice and were cleaned daily. Air conditioning worked, but the rooms remained a bit humid. I signed onto the wifi in the room, and although I connected successfully, the wifi didn't work at all - I had to use the other wifi network down in the lobby and the hallway. 

This hotel is only a couple of years old, and I think it needs to work on branding itself more as a hotel. The small pool can be used by the public for a fee, so for the entire week we were there, there were about a dozen non-hotel guests and lots of noisy kids hanging around. They minded their own business - but my family and I felt like we were crashing someone else's private summer retreat. 

The staff consisted of about 3 men, as far as I could tell. They were indistinguishable from the guests. They were all polite and accommodating, even preparing my mom a cappuccino past 1 AM. We were given a choice between a sweet or savory breakfast. Our sweet breakfast consisted of some juices, biscuits, one cornetto each, and unlimited coffee. No other food or snacks available beyond breakfast. Very basic and simple. Their restaurant seems reserved for catered events. 

Location is very out of the way, but at night you can see their big red HOTEL sign from the highway. It's up a kind of creepy dirt road that passes multiple other properties. 

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families looking for an abundance of comfort. But if you're young and flexible and like hanging out at the pool all day, this place is for you.

*bonus - the owner has an adorable pug puppy. 
*note - if you're afraid of little lizards, I spotted a couple in the stairwell and even one in our room which quickly fled. Also were plenty of flies and mosquitos in the lobby, but it is the countryside after all.

An interesting place.

I have already written one review but it is not showing up! The place was not ready for the season as you can see from the photos. Traffic noise, no air con in room, no bin, noisy fridge, ladder on our balcony. The restaurant made a meal, obviously rustled up from the contents of the fridge with one glass of wine and charged us E20 each! Ham, salami, grilled cougette, pasta and fruit.In the morning there was a knock on the door and the reception chap please pay I have to go now!

Terrible not tranquil

Since we were the only ones there, and most services were in abeyance for the off-season, it was a little "The Shining" -ish, but the location was convenient for us and our plans, and the gentleman who took care of us was very kind and helpful. We had a nice balcony with a view over an olive grove, and the room was spacious. It would be nice if the towels were not the old-fashioned thin linen type, but we ran into this in several hotels on our south Italy trip, we just had to use them all!

not a spring place

This hotel is near my birthplace, the adjoing town.However, it is in an obscure and difficult to find location in the middle of nowhere.The tiny dirt road is a two way road but in reality it barely has room for one small Italian car and it has loads of dumped garbage and unsightly filth. 

I am not sure how this place is a four star rated hotel, perhaps a payoff of some kind?
When we checked in, the lobby reaked of smelly stale cigar smoke. There were signs "VIETATO FUMARE" no smoking allowed. Obviously,It didn't apply to the hotel management.
I did complain to Ernesto, owner/director. His response: "I only smoke outside"

This hotel is four years old but the mattress is the original and extremely uncomfortable; therefore, along with the horrible scent of cigar smoke, a very bad night's sleep.
The hot water was an issue. I complained to Ernesto and he fixed it.However, the next day while in the middle of showering, the water stopped flowing completely.
 
We decided to depart three days before our scheduled departure because of what we experienced.Ernesto was upset with me because he was "losing there days of bookings". Ironically, we were the only guests in his hotel during our stay.

He billed us for breakfast.I questioned the billing, and he said : "No, breakfast is not included in the rate.".I checked out the web site later, and it clearly states that breakfast is included in the quoted daily rate.
He deceived me and billed us 40 Euros for two days of breakfast at checkout.

This place appears to be modern and well kept but the reality is different.
I am perplexed that it received four stars; definitely a ruse created by Ernesto.Probably, all the positive reviews are posted by locals or friends--don't give them any credibility.
Avoid this poorly managed "hotel".

No regard for guests and dishonest!!!!!

Before our early sunday morning flight from Bari Airport we thought  to have a good night by booking this hotel on a quiet, lonely location outside Bari. The hotel is new and looks impressive. It has a swimming pool and is rated four stars. When we arrived there was no one at the reception and there is no bell. After some time the manager arrived and we were brought to the room. The room is small and looks like a room in an international, big hotel, I wonder why they did not chose to make something more personal in this countryside hotel with just five rooms. There is a desk but no chair. On the terrace there were two dirty plastic chairs. There is no dustbin, not even in the bathroom. It is clear that the room hadn't been used for some time: dust everywhere and a stench in the bathroom because the siphons were empty. Minibar was almost empty and switched off. Airconditioning was not working. There is a phone in the room but there is no indication which number to dial to call the reception. We were the only guests in a deserted hotel, but this was completely different when we came back from dinner. The parking was full and the restaurant was full of local people eating pizza. So instead of sleeping we enjoyed loud music and screaming children in the hall and corridor until 2 a.m. In my mind one should make a choice, a four star hotel with adequate service or a party room, you cannot do both at the same location. The manager had assured us that it was not a problem to have breakfast at 7 a.m. (we had to leave early to catch our plane), but when we got up we found no one at the reception, staff was clearly still asleep. So we left without checking out and without breakfast. I wonder if the the hotel will dare to send us the bill. Absolutely not recommended on a saturday, maybe you will have more luck on other days in an other period.
