This is one of the only "hotels" in the area of Bogliasco , so you don't have much of a choice if your visiting Bogliasco. The rooms are average. The showers are tiny, your average American will have a hard time moving around in it, but plenty of hot water. They have a nice breakfast in the back garden, which is a really nice place to hang out and wind down and have a drink from the bar at night.  The location is just a few hundred yards for the entrance of "downtown" Bogliasco and the train station. From there you can hop on a train basically visit any of ultimatly get to any of the nearby towns like Cinque Terre, Portofino, Santa Margherita, ect... if you don't know this part of Italy your missing out on a little bit of paradise.  The best part of this hotel was the people who ran the place, such friendly hospitable hosts, that learned my name and did everything they could to help us plan our days. There is nicer than feeling trully appreciated and welcome when visiting a foreign country, that factor alone makes this place a 5star place for me. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

No Frills, great location, very hospitable,

Very basic family room with a large double bed and bunk beds. However the bunk beds were very rickety and rather nervous as to how safe they were. The air con was temperamental and couldn't get it to turn back on in the middle of the night when we were all incredibly hot. The hotel is situated on a busy main road and the noise at night was awful. Road sweepers came past in the middle of the night which were incredibly loud. Then a few hours later during the early hours bins were collected with recycling glass being collected too, again very loud. Obviously these things can't be helped but when the air con isn't working and we needed to sleep with the windows open, it didn't bode well for a restful nights sleep. 
The location is good with a short walk to the sea with a variety of restaurants available. 
Breakfast was simple but adequate for a small hotel. 
Overall a small basic hotel located on a main busy road. It was ok for a one night stopover but would probably not stay again. 

Basic Overnight Stay

We have stayed here three times (for a day or two each time) and will be happy to return.  The owner is very pleasant and accommodating and the location is excellent: in walking distance to the Bogliasco train station as well as the beach. We were there in very hot weather and the air conditioning was a godsend.  The only thing to be aware of is that there's no elevator, but they kindly helped us upstairs with our luggage.
