4 Tourist House Apartment Centre Bologna 

My husband and I spent almost two weeks in a studio apartment in Tourist House Bologna. The apartment location is one the best characteristics of this site because it is right in the middle of the historic center, only one block away from the Piazza Maggiore. You can also enjoy a partial view of the San Petronio Basilica from one of the windows and the Altabella Tower from the other window. You can walk to every point of interest in the city from this location. The owner, Guido, was an excellent host. You could contact him at any time and he was very responsive, friendly, and he resolved any issue you might have almost immediately. He even checked up with us periodically to make sure everything was OK and to see if we needed anything. The apartment itself consists of one spacious room, a workable bathroom and a side room that worked like a walk-in closet and storage area. There is plenty of storage space and it was a comfortable apartment for two people. In addition, the apartment was cleaned and the linen and towels changed three times while we were there. We had never experienced such excellent service. The apartment in on the last floor of the building and the stairs might be a deterrent for people who can’t climb so many steps. Since the apartment is so centrally located, you might hear some noise coming from the streets at night but it never bothered us or interfered with our sleeping. Since we stayed there for so long, we could have benefited from having a lounge chair in the room to allow a comfortable sitting option other than the bed and dining chairs. Overall it was the best experience we have had so far in a vacation apartment and Guido had a lot to do with making our stay in Bologna so memorable.
