Stayed for one night and really liked the place, great location opposite the erbe market which gets very lively at the w/e but noise from the street doesn’t reach the room when window is shut. The film theme is great and the in room projector is a great addition. Davide was a great host,very welcoming and helpful. Room and bathroom basic but clean and modern, not having an on suite (an off suite private bathroom instead) was not a problem. One drawback is the 3€ breakfast voucher - the patisserie/cafe was great however 3€ buys a croissant and coffee - not a breakfast. Otherwise would stay again and recommend.

Quirky place - great location

We came to bologna for working reasons and stayed for 3 nights.

La Cineteca is a wonderful place to stay in Bologna. The hole appartement is decorated in cinema style with lot of cinema stuff and posters. The host has hundred of DVDs and every guest can take them to watch in his own room. 

David - the Host is very friendly and sympathetic! As our flight was delayed we arrived around midnight but it was no problem at all. Every room has his own bathroom and toilet. 

For the breakfast you get vouchers for a bar just around the corner, because in italy a B&B is not allowed to serve you fresh food. But the bar is very nice and has excellent coffee and pastry. 

La Cineteca is placed in a touristical Hotspot - just next to the Mercado del Erbe! In the evening there are lot of students sitting and drinking outside and there are some very nice bars. So if you have the room which leads to the street it will be loud specially on friday and saturday night.

This property is a regular apartment in a regular residential building. 
The best thing about it is the location near the Mercado Del Erbe and central to bars, restaurants. 
But: The parking is a public, inconvenient one. There is no air condition and the heat+ very uncomfortable bed made it hard to get some sleep. The bathrooms are not on-suite but outside each room.  There are no toiletries, so you have to bring your own. Even the soap is at least 70% water diluted. 
The host does not have the key to the elevator so guests have to take the luggage up and down through the stairs. Shower curtain stinks and water leeks to the entire bathroom (could be easily solved by proper sliding shower door).
There is no breakfast in the property but guests get coupons for the bar a few meters away. It is not bad it even the coupon is worth 3€ and the rest, if you want, you pay!
Seems that some small investment could have made this a more attractive place. 
As it is, the price is way to high for a regular apartment.  If this would have been published in Air  B&B at a lower rate, it would be more appropriate. 

Bed and Breakfast? More like Air BnB

The owner was on site when we arrived. Clean and comfortable apartment. Private bathroom adjacent to the room. Shared kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. A food market across the.  street with a wide range of food and restaurants. Breakfast is a token for a nearby restaurant which was the usual coffee and croissant or brioche. The owner is friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if we return to Bologna.

Good location, comfortable.

Located in center town in a little quite street. The B&B is very original equipped and very comfortable beds. The only thing less good is the bathroom that are outside rooms. The owner was kind and English speaking.

Comfortable and quite B&B

We stayed here for 7 nights with 6 people so we occupied all the rooms. It was good because the bathrooms are outside the room so you can hear the doors closing and walking outside. Also we were facing the street where the bars were hip happening so it can get noisy at night but we didn't mind it. Also it's on the first floor with no lift so you might have a difficult time with mobility issues. That being said I hope to stay here again! Davide is lovely!

Location was right Infront of the Mercato where you can get cheap eats. Please try the roast chicken and the roast pork at the market it was the best meal I've ever had.
