We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived at B&B Bosa. Whilst the apartment is 300 years old, it has been renovated to offer all the things we expect in the 21st century whilst keeping all of its old charm and beauty. The indoor kitchen on the first floor features an arched ceiling and wonderful ornaments. Everything to the last details, the crockery even, made me smile. Our bedroom of course was very pleasant also, with small details added to make the room feel very much like home. But best of all was the terrace at the top of the building. It offers a view of the whole town below, the mountains to the left, and even the sea in the distance. Without wishing to sound dramatic, I was very moved by the scene and felt I could spend days just looking out. And then there was Giuseppe (Katija was in Germany during out visit so we unfortunately did not get to meet her). He was an exceptionally kind, helpful, and above all, friendly host. We felt that he was genuinely interested in making sure our stay in Bosa was as good as it could be, from offering advice on which beaches to visit, to where is best to eat and drink. He even gave us a lift to Macomer on the day of our departure as he was heading that way anyway (he also owns a taxi company!). To sum it up, both myself and my partner felt kind of sad when we said goodbye to Giuseppe. We wished we could have stayed just one more day.
