29 reviewsSituated in the village of Meluno above Bressanone, Pension Summererhof is an excellent base for exploring the Süd Tirol/ Alto Adige. We were two couples travelling by train and found the pension a restful retreat after the crowds of Venice. The Familie Psaier are very thoughtful hosts and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The pension is well-placed to walk to nearby Plose and it's hiking trails. It is a €25 cab ride from Bressanone/Brixen and a 20 minute walk from the bus stop. The Brixen Karte, given upon arrival at the Pension, provided free bus travel, museum entry and access to the Plose. It was great value! The family suite had a well provisioned kitchen and comfortable lounge/dining, so that we could bring back groceries and cook for ourselves if we wanted. There were also ample restaurants in the region should we desire. Waking to that beautiful view every morning was worth the journey. Sehr gemütlich!
