Scortesy and malpractice. booked by phone for summer 2021, causing a serious problem, with a long advance I ask to move my stay and I'm told that I don't have availability for the whole season. I'm being given a voucher for 2022. Well, the problem was that the following year I found out that my voucher was only available on the last weekend of the season.. when even faced with my requests to find a solution, given a weather alert ordered by civil protection and being the place only reachable on foot, they were a wall, condoned by great malpractice. Personally I thought this voucher was a scam because the phone in May gave us the chance to use it only at the dawn of October, where all this was predictable.

Corruption and Malpractice

I've actually been there before, but this place deserves to come back from time to time because it's beautiful.

Restaurant with fantastic sea view, spectacular location, very good food, somewhat disappointing and unattended structure, semi-professional staff, for a restaurant where there are limited seats called romantic tables, ask 3 days before arrival if they provided a flower packet, I heard that they could not find an open flower garden, called Wednesday for Saturday evening. Very nice taxi boat trip from the port of Camogli to the atracco of the place of the restaurant.

A little disappointed.

Stella Maris is so beautiful. I booked this trip to take my family (sister, niece & mom) almost 2 months in advance-we had just lost a family friend and wanted a place of peace to heal. 
The staff is all family here - and they are so hardworking - but overworked. The spa we were so excited about was closed. Literally just broken the entire week. The food was no good- not fresh or consistent.  And do yourself a favor - if you do not speak Italian - do not go. They don’t speak English - we tried the little Italian we knew but felt un welcomed.  Micheala is the front desk and probably the most hard working women I’ve ever met. They really could use a few more hands to help execute meals, repairs, and hosting.

Beautiful place : tired & overworked hosts

Beautiful and unique in its kind, but terrible restaurant, poor service, unattended waiters, huge waiting list and unattended table, and food too expensive for quality (the most expensive place in the vicinity).

It's an amazing place, but a restaurant to avoid.

This is an extraordinary place, far from everything but in front of Genoa, where everything that can happen under your eyes is wonderful and authentic, and where you will be overwhelmed by sea visions in every direction. Sea, sea, sea, sea, sea pine, sunsets, peace and beauty. We stayed in the Byron room and I must say it was a privilege. This place is as exclusive as you can look for in a region like Liguria, where everything has now become equal and repeatable, known, often sketchy. Here the beauty has not been trivialized, commercialized, degraded. The atmosphere, despite all the high-level, informal treatment that Stella receives, strong, and this is also a unique location. It is not always good to do with the freshness and gentleness of Maris, perhaps at this level, but it is not always a privileged place, because it is not just a place where you are comfortable, but you are comfortable, and you are not at the same level, because you are not at the same level, and you are not just in the comfort of the table, but you are not at the same level

The location of this location is really crazy, from the sunset to the sea to the spectacular view of Camogli. As for the restaurant, there is something to see.

It's an incredible position, but we're not there.

I'd give zero, but you can't. Call them restaurants, gyms, hostels. Then I just have to say: improvise!!! The place could have a thousand potential, but not one is exploited: a cleaning closet, an outdoor terrace where you can relax left to go, dirty everywhere. Latte, paper, dirty cigarette and pipe from YOUR dog everywhere.

It's embarrassing.

We were in a couple at Stella Maris and spent unforgettable days immersed in the beauty of the natural park and comfortably connected with the boats, which allowed us to move quickly between Camogli and San Fruttuoso. Upon arrival we passed through the forest, with a magnificent half-hour walk from San Rocco. The stay was special, we were welcomed and followed carefully for every need by the staff, who made us comfortable. The structure is comfortable and enjoys an extraordinary view. in a unique position in the protected park of Portofino. A chip. Thank you Stella Maris!

Beautiful location, delicious food and excellent hospitality. Away from the chaos of the city ideal for relaxing and being in touch with nature. Very available staff. Large and cozy rooms ideal for couples and families ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
