i was there with a friend this January 2017. really amazing food and wine. at the end of the dinner we insisted in meeting the chef because we wanted to compliment him.
all was very good but i was really positively impressed by the appetizer with venison meat and mixed berries.
prised was also ok. really well recommended!

We came here on a ski safari trip and had the best food and most comfortable bed of the whole week (and most of the week had pretty good food!). The family have owned this hotel for generations, and the current owner has a very well researched wine cellar to go with a stunning 5 course "tasting" menu (rather large tastes so don't eat all day if you are planning to come and try it!. The chef obviously really cares about food and produced such combinations as herring with horseradish ice cream served on dehydrated orange- and traditional dishes like spinach gnocchi but done really well. Thoroughly recommended.

Friendly family run hotel with fabulous food and wine

This family-run hotel has all the best points of such an establishment, very welcoming and with great attention to detail. It is attractive, spotlessly clean, and the restaurant - whilst a little on the expensive side - has a truly delicious and wide-ranging menu and a great wine cellar. All the staff are attentive and most helpful, and as the hotel is located a couple of minutes from the beautiful Piazza Papa Luciani, it is both convenient but also quiet. My room had a wonderful view of the mountains. I had a very happy stay of six nights here and I would certainly recommend this hotel, and hope to stay again.

Very Welcoming!

I was there in February with a small group. The rooms are quite small but clean. We were on the top floor and it was quite a climb to the room. We had the most incredible meal consisting of I think 7 courses. The food was delicious and obviously popular with the locals. Had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Very welcoming people and well worth the visit.

A lovely end to my ski trip in the Dolomiti

The hotel itself is not particularly special - the room we had was a small double with a good sized bathroom and a weak shower. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of storage. Also good wifi in the bedrooms - which was hard to come by on our trip! 
BUT the selling point of the hotel is the food. It is sensational! We had about 7 courses all incredibly special - as a pescetarian they had gone out of their way to make individual dishes that were of the same standard as the meat dishes. Nowhere else we had stayed really catered for non-meat eaters or those trying to avoid pork. The highlights were: herring with horseradish ice cream served on caramelised orange, a mini artichoke cheesecake and a delicious hazelnut creme brule. This is without mentioning the amazing breads and canapes. There is a giant wine list you can spend 50 euros on a bottle of wine if you wish or opt for a 15 euro bottle as we did. The breakfasts were also full of treats - cakes pastries, lovely bread, fresh fruit and cheese. The staff were also very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate requests. The sommelier was a bit sniffy about the wine but I put this down to us being in a large group and rather indecisive about what we wanted. The cumin grappa was also very good. I'd make a detour to stay at this place again.
