90 euros a night, four times a night, awful bathroom, used toilet paper, soaps not in disposable bags, towels lying on the door, all bad! They don't walk you to your room, no parking.

Bad rooms

My wife and I stayed in this lovely hotel and we were very happy from the moment we entered the room we felt the air clean, one great business card, I congratulate Mr. and Mrs. X on making us feel at home, congratulations very much

Good for you.

We had a decent stay in this hotel. the staff is friendly and the local restaurant is delicious. this is no frills however and expect basic accommodation and breakfast as you usually find in Italy. However I was pleasantly surprised with the fresh brioche.

Decent stay

We found ourselves staying in this hotel because of the snow emergency that has been occurring in the area these days, all in all the hotel is clean, warm, and with welcoming staff available, it seemed a bit excessive the price of dinner since it was improvised however emergencies are emergencies 😏

Emergency accommodation!!!

I booked a wedding by phone x a couple asking for service cm a nice room x which was the first night of our wedding, I was accepted saying they would upgrade the room cn care. I asked for the price and I accepted, but what I didn't ask was the dressing room if it had any differences. When I take the keys and see the room summed up everything was fine it was set up, at the time of payment I'm being asked for 30 euros more than the price of the room x the dressing room, I made objections as soon as I was over-swept x the service they were offering, they replied that he had bought the fruit, the chocolates, the dishes and the foam. I paid the request summed up, but instead of waiting for at least a 75 ml bottle they found a nice 20ml of that one taken from a spob!

I was recently in this building and I have to say that to get there there were no specific signage but rather HOTEL and so generic, it's a little old and a consonant route, structure outside that needs some tweaking, reached the mini hall I realized that behind me there were the choirs of the Palermo, and I as a Palermo fan I was surprised in a positive way, my room was very large, spacious, clean...nothing to say, satellite TV with premium and dark channels.... they only took the classics... skyfiled protected...but on the other hand we are in a 3 stars and I couldn't take the Moon....title was very nice and available...it should have come back to me, like the point of appeal, probably skyfiled!

Pros and Cons

This hotel is ideally located, almost in the centre of Sicily, close to the south coast, where there are so many beautiful things to discover. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the owner is always ready to meet our various requests. We trusted him very much to guide us to the various places to visit, to indicate the most appropriate route, and above all not to miss anything places not to miss. A varied and abundant lunch. A parking lot is available in the hotel. A little more, the restaurant across the street that offers menus served by smiling, available and patient staff (as for our lack of vocabulary regarding the ingredients of the dishes).

The ideal situation

I stayed at the Collina del Faro Hotel for 3 nights in July 2014. I had an invitation to Canicatti, a city that doesn't offer many hotel choices. The hotel is charming, the reception is a little fair. Breakfast is served in the basement, and at exactly 10 am, the curtain closes! The Wi-Fi is very unstable. The rooms are clean, the decoration is obsolete. An address to use when there is no other option possible.

Staying in this hotel when there's no other solution

I've been at this hotel for work since at least the second half of the 80s. I've never felt bad and I've always found a good quality/price ratio. Erected on a hill at the entrance to Canicatti, the Hill of the Light is great for resting quietly. Even the rooms are in the good middle of the local type. I just have to say that the interior parking is small, but I take this off I don't see any other big problems.
