It's been 4 years in a row (and this will be the 5th!!) that my son and I spend a few days with the tent at the campsite. Ester and Marco (and Snoopy) make us feel at home. Here it is: serenity, silence, good air, relaxation, good food, conviviality, advice on the surrounding territory.

...how beautiful life is at the Ginestre de la Catria...

For those who love simple and genuine things, such as the reception of Esther and Marco, their campsite like once immersed in green and dotted with ginestra flowers, dominated by the profiles of the Catria and Acuto mountains that invite on their paths.

Serenity, nature and culture

This campsite has all this: it is located on the slopes of Mount Catria (we have climbed to the summit directly from the campsite), and near the villages of Cantiano and Chiaserna historically important places for the Marches. But what really makes the difference is the warmth and sympathy of the campsite managers, including Snoopy, their very simplistic dog!

When you run a facility you make a difference.

We go every year with our children and we feel... at home. The managers are very friendly and available opportunities to barbeque and cook and from this year also the pool!!!

A family camp.

We doubled the length of our stay at ‘le Ginestre del Catria’ because of many reasons: the tranquillity and beauty of unspoiled Marche, the experience of staying at a ‘nostalgic’ camping with a unique atmosphere,  the personal treatment and hospitality of Ester and Marco, the fact that we could eat at the camping after a day of exploration, reading or just relaxing in the pool, the excellent (and very well priced) cooking of Ester, proximity to beautiful and interesting places to visit such as Gubbio and Assisi and although it’s an old camping we had all the facilities we needed for our camper. Definitely a place to return!

Unique and lovely experience

charming little campsite  just above the village in natural surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay very much due to the private and natural space, that offered the peace and quiet we very looking for. The owners made us welcome in every possible way, from preparing a wonderful meal to helping fix our motorbike. Sanitary block is simple but very clean.
