A little old but very functional hotel, located directly on the waterfront and very close to the town centre, very clean both rooms and common areas, excellent breakfast and very good services, the only negative thing is the lack of private storage.

The hotel is very clean with a wonderful view. It is managed by very kind owners. It is very welcoming and staff very qualified and available. It has an unparalleled breakfast with so many delicacies, cakes and delicious cornetts served at the table in an impeccable way. The rooms are spacious and panoramic, well maintained and very clean, bed very comfortable. From the rooms and from the terrace you can admire unforgettable sunsets on the sea.

Excellent and highly advised

We stayed at Hotel Faro for two nights and could not have been more delighted. The amenities, cleanliness (especially because of COVID-19), and the view from our room were exquisite! However, the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly, attentive, and always smiling. They are always working diligently to ensure you have the best experience. We are thankful to have booked this hotel and highly recommend it. Great location!

Best Hotel Ever!

I've known the hotel for a very long time but haven't visited it for at least twenty years, I expected to find it in much better condition. In fact - probably because of the precariousness of a one-night stay (but it can't be a mitigating one) the room doesn't belong to any of the ones found in the photos. The only note of merit is the balcony and the panorama, beyond the beach only a few meters away and this allows you not to touch the car.

Stay off the schedule.

Wanting to spend a long weekend of summer in Cape Town as always I went to TripAdvisor to see which hotels were the best reviewed and I found this hotel where I decided to spend four days and three nights. I must say that as almost always happens the positive reviews were absolutely right. Hotel located right next to the lighthouse, two steps from the center and facing a beautiful beach and sea. Very kind and available staff. Simple and clean hotel. The only thing I think to improve the morning Croissants. There are better quality even frozen if necessary. Next year I will return there. It has become a landmark for this town of mine. Absolutely recommended.

End of summer vacation

I've been an affectionate customer for years, the quality/price ratio is excellent considering the summer prices of Cape Town. Beautiful location close to the village and with the sea in front. Beautiful sea view rooms with wonderful views and breathtaking sunsets. But the thing I want to compliment him for is the strict adherence to anti-covid norms. With great effort especially in organizing breakfast, they managed to make us feel calm.

It's a great hotel.

Gentle staff, who allowed us to leave our suitcases even though the room was not yet ready. Spacious room but with the essentials. Furniture without too much pretence. No safe. Spectacular position, too bad that the facade of the rooms is ALWAYS exposed to the sun and at night it seemed to go into an oven. I didn't appreciate checking in and checking out together. The first time I happened to get to a hotel and pay for a stay that I still have to do. Unacceptable. Too bad they don't accept American Express. Too bad that because of Covid, breakfast comes at a set time, in shifts and then shares me.

To be improved

A spacious room with sea view, very clean, huge bathroom, for us it's not a 2 star, but 3. The only thing that would improve the coffee for breakfast, but for the rest the location, cleanliness, rooms and kindness are great.

Just relax.

Quiet stay for 5 days in this very quiet hotel, where the owner's great kindness and willingness stands out, always ready to get us the right people to solve our little problems

Spacious and clean room and bathroom, plenty of breakfast served as a buffet. Good pastries. Very friendly staff and a beautiful sea view all for 52€ The top!!!
