We had such a fabulous 13 nights here. Alfonsina and her family were the perfect hosts. The whole place is gorgeous, retaining lots of original features like the floor tiles in the breakfast room 🥰 Alfonsina was really helpful and spoke amazing English, which was rare in Santa Maria! I appreciate her trying to teach me a couple of new Italian words a day, too.  

We're from Birmingham, UK and found it easy to get to, direct flight to Naples, Alibus to the station, train to Agropoli anf the 34/35 bus to about 2 minutes away from Villa Imperamere. The only difficult thing was working out which side of the road to stand on for the bus but I recommend using the Moovit app to plan any bus journeys and learning how to say 'where is the bus stop to Santa Maria' (mind you, in Paestum we were told the wrong side but luckily someone saw the 2 of us standing on opposite sides and came to the rescue)

If you want to see Castellabate, there's a local bus that goes from the car park by Olivers on the square nearer the beaches that only cost €1.20 each. It's worth visiting  for the views. Just check the bus times as they're rather infrequent. 

There are plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. We ate at Pibaro 3 times the pizza was that good! Nautilus is also amazing, but it was very quiet being a Tuesday evening in September.

The garden is beautiful, and we wish we had brought/bought bug spray to enjoy it more - next time 😁

Breakfasts were lovely, and I don't know how Alfonsina manages to cook such perfect cakes each day! The coffee angel also comes and delivers endless coffees, too ☕️🧚‍♀️

I feel so fortunate to have stayed in such an amazing place for my first trip to Italy. I hope we can come back next year ❤️

A fabulous first trip to Italy

Alphonso an and Annarosa are incredible, warm and friendly hosts. Updated, meticulously clean and attention to every detail needed-even provided Beach Towels! Highly recommend Villa Imperamare. We loved staying there! 

Best Italian Hispitality

Absolutely unbelievable stay at Villa Imperamare for our wedding!!
 
Stayed in a sea view room and the suite and could not fault anything about the stay! We were treated like royalty from the second we arrived! After a stressful day traveling we were recorded with a warm welcome and a cool Aperol Spritz.

Alfonsia and family were amazing! The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily to such a high standard. The breakfast was phenomenal including lovely strong fresh coffee and croissants the size of my head!

They made myself, my partner and all my bridesmaids and their partners feel at home and left no stone unturned in making our holiday and wedding unforgettable. Nothing was too much effort for them, even down to making the breakfast room a bridal preparation room and lining the stairs case with flowers from there amazing garden on the wedding day!

I would recommend everyone to stay here! This place holds a special place in my heart and we will definitely be back for anniversaries!

Outstanding wedding week! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We visited over the previous weekend for a family wedding. As soon as we arrived we felt welcome. Our room was clean and well decorated. The Air Conditioning worked perfectly. 

Alfonsina and her family were the perfect hosts. They made the effort to talk to us at breakfast and when they saw us throughout the day and asked how the wedding was the day after and wished us well when we left. 

Breakfast was a good selection of breads, cakes and fruits and freshly made coffee to order. 

If we are ever in Santa Maria again. We will certainly be staying here.

Fantastico

Alfonsina is the most amazing host. She is so helpful, could not do enough for us. Her homemade lemoncello and biscotti is to die for. We loved our stay here. We stayed in the stunning suite. It had the best views and the decor was gorgeous. So excited to return in the future.

Stunning

Family owned and so personable. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, clean and very comfortable. Exquisite. We stayed in May 2022 when the town is a little sleepy but we liked it that way. Parking is very accessible for this location. The breakfast was yummy and hosts even sent a care package of pistachio cake with us as we continued on our travels. This property had a pretty big outdoor area with resident ducks. If you’re passing by the area this is a must for comfort and love from the hosts.

Exquisite and comfortable stay.

1. this flat is on the top floor of a B&B in the town center of Santa Maria di Castellabate. It is really beautiful, modern, bright, fully equipped, with a spacious bedroom, nice bathroom and a big terrace where you can cook, have lunch or dinner, or relax on the wooden beds at night, staring at the stars in the sky. There is always a light breeze which makes it possibile to have even lunch outside, sheltered by an electric bower. The view is ASTONISHING, the blue of the sea in front of you, and the sunset is wonderful. My children were speechless when they entered the room the first time!
2. The location is excellent, just at the beginning of the pedestrian area (you can park not far away), there is a small supermarket just beneath and some bakeries and deli shops. If you don’t want to cook there are plenty of nice restaurants serving excellent food! And the town beaches are really close, just a few minutes on foot. It’s a small town, clean and not too chaotic.
3. The staff is really welcoming, polite and ready to fulfill any needs or provide any assistance. Alfonsina, Anna e Stefano made us feel at home, they are truly good-hearted people!
You may think we are too positive in our review but after having travelled a lot abroad and in Italy, this place is the ONE we really miss now back home!

A true paradise

This is the most amazing bed and breakfast accommodation I have ever had the pleasure of staying at throughout all my travels around the world!!! 
Your hostess Alphonsina could not have been more charming, kind, pleasant and thoughtful!  Accommodation is immaculate! It deserves 6 stars!!!!  My family and I loved every second of our stay - thank you Alphonsina and your lovely family - we will miss you! 😘 Baby Ava will always treasure her first shoes! ❤️

Perfection!!!!

This is our second stay at this wonderful B&B and we loved it just as much the second time. Alphonsina (and her family) are delightful and nothing is too much trouble and we’ll definitely be back. The rooms are beautifully presented and sitting on our balcony with a glass of wine, watching the world go by is a great finish to the day.

Love this place

Beautiful rooms, fantastic hosts, lovely fresh breakfasts. We came to santa maria for a friends wedding so 32 people were staying in various hotels. Some of us were lucky enough to stay in the Imparemare. Great location for the beaches, shopping, bars and restaurants.  Alfonsina was such a brilliant host, she could not do enough for all of us..
It is a family run hotel and all the family keep it going to a very high standard. Everything was immaculate.  If it had its own pool I would give it 6 stars as the beaches get crowded with locals at the weekends which hindered where to go somewhat. However we can't have everything and it did not stop us loving the place.  Our thanks go to Alfonsina , Mariarose and the rest of the family for looking after us so well.
