Lovely bnb very close to centre.  Old world charm with large rooms and comfortable beds.   Excellent breakfast with lots of healthy choices.   Helpful and wonderful staff.  Easy walking distance to town.

This B&B is to good to be true. Very good service. The cleaning of our room is just wonderful. We have enjoyed the personnel and a very good breakfast for our stay. San Marco is a perfect town as a starting point to Get to know the area around Castellabate. We would very much like to come back to L'Elisea another time. If in doubt dont be, just book your stay. Just dont fill it up when we want to book🤗😃


Perfect for a holiday in south Italy

This small hotel is in fact a family atmosphere with very beautiful rooms and perfect in every detail. The centerpiece is the living room with a library, a typical Italian environment, and especially breakfast, with delicious homemade cakes. These alone are worth the stay. This house is very close to the sea. Negative point is the small suburb of San Marco di Castelalbate, which does not offer much. But if one decides to go to Castellabate, this Maison is definitely the best place to stay

Comfortable stay next to a wonderful sea

Strongly recommendable! This small but fine hotel lies central in San Marco but is in a quiet street. The rooms come with air condition, some have sea view. The hotel is tidy, clean and in particular the Lobby/breakfast room is furnished with great stile. It is like being guest at a Lord's home.  Very cosy atmosphere. The service is very friendly and the reception is present the whole day and always willing to help. The breakfast is a sight! Never seen such a big choice of cakes and jam before. In addition cheese and other Italian specialities are served, too. All of excellent quality and indigenous products from Cilento. The hotel is located in a zone which offers two nice beaches nearby and vast possibilities to hike on foot or by bike in this wonderful landscape offside from the traffic. I did Kayaking along the interesting coast but it would have been possible on a river nearby too (which will be next when I return). You can rent a scooter, car or bike in the neighbour-town. I spent 3 weeks in this hotel and wasn't disappointed a minute.

Cosy atmosphere, friendly, excellent

A very nice room. Always an excellent breakfast selection, very well presented in a large dining room/ sitting room with a pretty garden adjacent. Excellent service from the ever helpful and friendly Maria. Really good value. 5 minutes walk to a good beach, 3 minutes walk to bars and restaurants in the centre of the village and the port.
