Nice hosts; Very good breakfast.The little problems: Three little lights in the whole room. It was dark. One could not read in bed unless you hold a light. Dogs barking.late at night and then at 6:00am in the morning. Internet was horrible (1 bar) in most parts of the room. Hard to see the walkway at night; only light ½ the steps were lit. Pillows were as hard as a bag of sand. Have some soft/foam pillows available. TV screen was smaller than my laptop screen. Was very hard to find. Send guests directions on how to get there.

Nice People; Good Brekfast; Lots of little Problems

The couple who own the property is extremely friendly and nice. The lady treats the guests in a way as if you were part of their family. This kind of treatment is extremely valuable in a cold world like today's. Very big and spacious room nicely decorated and cozy, good shower. Extremely peaceful location. Perfect breakfast with yogurt, cereal and fresh strawberries. Very nicely located near the road with an amazing vista. I wouldn't go anywhere else when I'm visiting the Chianti region again.

Great place to stay in the Chianti region

Staying here was part of a two night, out of season’ trip to Chianti. 

Found the B&B on Trip Advisor and reserved before arriving.  

There’s an electronic gate to get on the property and into the parking lot. Initial arrival was out only difficulty as we weren’t sure how to contact the host.  A neighbour assisted us with accessing the property and meet the host. 

The hosts are a sweet elder couple who do not speak English or French. They are attentive and asked what time we wanted breakfast.  

The room was large for European standards. The bed was equivalent to a king size. The decor is rustic.  The B&B is perched on the mountainside and the view from the room was nice. 

The sleep was great.  There’s dogs occasionally barking but I find it added to the country experience. 

The restaurants in town were empty as it was low season but regardless the meals were great.  The hosts have a few cards from the local places to offer.  

Breakfast was a highlight.  Lots of homemade jams and different things to choose from. Great start to the day. 

The experience at this property was enjoyable.  We’d love to come back during tourist season. 

Couples out of season visit 

We stayed here for one night and we wished we could have stayed more!! The couple who own it are very hospitable. They are so friendly and despite speaking little English made us feel really at home. The room was spotlessly cleaned and we had everything we needed to have a great stay. The homemade breakfast was delicious and very generous. Such a nice place to stay and a really welcoming environment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Excellent B&B

We stayed here for a week in April 2014. We found the b&b by chance looking through various deals online. At only 50 euro per night it was a real steal. The couple who own it were lovely and very accommodating. They always checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with croissant, homemade cakes, bread, cereal, jam, juice, tea, coffee and some ham and cheese sandwiches which we often took for packed lunches. It's in a peaceful location just on the way out of castellina but it's a very easy walk down into the town with some lovely restaurants and great local vineyards. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely stay at the b&b

We found this B&B by luck searching through various deals online.  Boy what luck!  When we arrived we were greeted by a wonderful Italian man and what we assume is his wife.  They were so nice and inviting.  They were always making sure we had everything we needed.  The room was large, very clean, and with a combination of vintage and modern decoration.  The stay came with free WiFi and breakfast.  The bathroom was very clean and modern.  The breakfast was a very complete continental breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, and a large assortment of pastries.  The whole stay felt like visiting the grandparents for the weekend, I wish our trip would have allowed us to stay there one more night.  Highly recommend it.
