I loved this hotel, my wife not so much. We stayed here with friends in a small travel group for three nights, Sept 30 to departure on Oct. 3. It is off the beaten path but that is part of its charm, at least to me. The staff is incredible, coming out to our small bus to help us with luggage etc. It is very clean and up to date though my wife said there was a funky odor but it did not bother my allergies and I think it was just typical of the Alpine atmosphere. It is about 20 miles from Bolzano but near to the Great Dolomite Rd that you can take the tour and not be delayed coming in to the heart of the Dolomites, esp. good value.
