Well-kept, clean and well-organized family-owned garni. High-rise-style room, view of the village and mountains. Well-stocked breakfast, brioches, strudel, fruit, bread... good! good location to visit the village center and public transport

A night of ortheses.

We stayed only one night in this facility very close to the center. The room with a balcony that gives you a nice view of Orthisei was small but clean, the bathroom very small. The owner, kind and attentive. To improve breakfast.

That's cute.

We only stayed one night. The Garni is a bit dated, it would need to be renovated, even in the furnishings and services. Ps: on the gardenia.it website looking for a facility with free room for that night offered me the room for this hotel at a lower price... the lady raised the price... we did not make a promise for one night but be careful.

Holidays

The positive aspect is that although it is in the suburbs it is possible to reach the centre on foot in a few minutes. The lifting facilities are also nearby. The management is family-friendly and therefore you would expect more care in the cleaning of the rooms and in the quality of the breakfast. The rooms are small. Prices are expensive compared to the service offered.

Improved

We booked the last one for two nights this Garní. The owner Karin was immediately very nice. We had booked the last standard room left, but she managed to find one of a really nice just upper category with balcony and window, bathroom with window, all made of clear wood really nice and clean (In honor of the truth the standard that she had shown us was very different and would not be worth the asking price, but luckily she offered us the other one.) The breakfast is varied and of quality. There is also the possibility of skipass directly to the hotel which is a great service. The slopes are quite close to walking with the shoes or anyway the bus is reached in five minutes and takes you around the whole Valena.

Kindness near the village

It's a garnish that's now dated in both furniture and services. Towels in the bathroom are just slick and flushed at the edges, the towel in the bidet is completely different and dozens of sponges. Maybe it's more suited to Germans who represent most guests. Breakfast was a disaster.

Poor breakfast

The hotel is close to the centre and the children's ski area. It is beautiful and clean, well heated. Breakfast is plentiful and there is plenty to choose from (sliced, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee, cereal...) They give you free admission to the swimming pools that are right next to it, a two-minute walk away.

Very nice and welcoming

We went into the first restaurant that we stumbled upon as we were really hungry. The atmosphere was lively and the waitresses quick and cheerful.

Then came the soup. It tested like the cook poured a whole bottle of Magi Würze into our plates. So that overshadowed the fact that the pizza we had afterwards was fine. And that the salad plate was tasty (albeit small for the price).

Next time we are in town we will stop by somewhere else. 

Magi Würze rulles

Room was small and dark except when we were trying to sleep. Light came in from outside all night. Bathroom was a decent size. Balcony looked on to near by cement wall. Nothing to write home about. Breakfast was decent but room should have cost less. We stayed in a near by hotel the night before for a similar price and a gigantic room.

Not worth the price

We had an unexpected stay in Ortisei in August 2014 and used the board by the tourist center to find lodging. We were trying to keep costs low and Garni Toni had availability. We walked over there and choose a dbl room with a sink in room and a shared bath for 85 euro/night. The lady who helped us was very friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to get pool passes for the indoor/outdoor pool next door (since we had rain during our stay these were a great bonus). The hotel was quiet, breakfast was good, and overall we enjoyed our stay. I thought it was a good value for the location and peak season.
