I couldn't recommend B&B Il Tramonto enough! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week in June and absolutely loved it. It's location is perfect for anyone staying in Castelsardo. The B&B itself is extremely clean and comfortable, with a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can enjoy breakfast every morning or a relaxing drink in the evening. The room we stayed in was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts, Manu & Alejandra are so helpful and friendly, honestly the best hosts you could ask for. On arrival they recommended the best spots for dinner & drinks and suggested activities around the area. The breakfast provided every morning was delicious, with fresh ingredients from Manu's garden.

A side note I have to mention. The day before we were due to check out and fly home, my girlfriend had a bad accident on a bike. Manu & Alejandra followed us to the hospital and, if it weren't for them, the situation would have been so much worse. Their generosity was unbelievable and they did so much to help us.

The greatest hosts you'll ever meet!

Il tramonto is a very cozy place with a great view and a great location. 
The host Manuelle gives an authentic good service to everyone and really making you feel like at home. 
The rooms are beautiful,  very clean and well equipped. The center with restaurants, shops and the amazing castle it's just around the corner.  As a family with a small kid we had everything we needed and had a fantastic time.  We can totally recommend it for anyone who wants to visit Sardinia.

Totally recommended!

The B&B is perfectly located, close to town and the beach, yet quiet at night. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped. The common area is beautiful and with a great view! Breakfast is done with local ingredients and lots of love!. The coolest thing however is the host, Manuelle, who treats all guest as if they were friends, providing great tips and recommendations! Im looking forward to my next visit to Il Tramonto! Thanks Manuelle for making our stay such a great experience!

Like at a friend’s house!

  I went for a 6 nights stay in Castelsardo with my boyfriend, and we decided to stay at Il tramonto after reading it's many positive reviews....well, it was a 10! The location is perfect right on the town centre and close to everything.The room was clean and confortable, as well as the bed. The terrace where breakfast is served (which it's complete and tasty) it's also a great spot for dinner as it's quiet and peaceful. But the best of all it was Manuele, the owner, who made our stay a delight,  giving us great advice on what/where to do and go, always with a smile. One day we couldn't stay for breakfast as we booked a super early tour, and he brought us sandwiches before leaving to have on our way! He was an absolute 10. Also his dad, who was around giving  a hand and received us on arrival, was super nice and friendly. Couldn't recomend it enough. 

Best experience

Good location, with plenty of parking spaces nearby (mid June). The breakfast was brilliant, and Manuele was very helpful and went out of his way to help us with every question or request, including restaurant recommendations. The room was well equipped and the terrace upstairs was lovely. I enjoyed the stay and would be happy to recommend it or stay there again. Overall, good value for money.

Small B&B with a nice host and a lovely breakfast

Manuele made our stay great, super friendly and accomodating. He runs the small B&B (4 rooms I think) all by himself, being the receptionist, cook, cleaner and handyman all at once ... and always in a good mood. 
The B&B itself was charming, clean and has a nice rooftop terrace where a home made breakfast is served. The location is also great, 1 minute from the central square in the new town (accessible by car) where lots of restaurants and bars are, and about 10 minutes up the hill to the castle and the old town. 

A cosy B&B with a great host

We only stopped one night here, but it was amazing. The room is clean, there is the clime. The host is really nice and gentle, for the breakfast he propose a lot of things and he makes a good coffee.
The place is really close to the castle, 5 minutes walking to the beach.

Just perfect

Fantastic breakfast served in a lounge / dining area or a small terrace outside and views over Castelsardo. We were given a range of options for the breakfast and plumped for the Bruschetta which came complete with freshly picked basil from the pot on the terrace and was spot on. The bedroom was excellent, and had a seating area leading through to the bedroom. Great location a short walk from the main Piazza in Castelsardo, from which the castel itself is possibly a further 15 minutes up the hill. Very friendly host. Absolute knock-out!”

Terrace, view, brilliant breakfast, central location, and fantastic host. What's not to love?

We chose this at the last minute for one night because we didn't want to drive back to our hotel on the other side of Sardinia 

So we were literally just looking for a place to sleep and a shower, without frills.

This is great value. Easy to park, and free. Very friendly efficient welcome. Spotlessly clean spacious room. Good aircon and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Nice home made breakfast. Charming helpful staff. 

The roof terrace is a bonus for this price. Highly recommended!
