Location very good! Car it is a must! Then with a guide of places and beaches you can travel and see places. Generally, the place is nice. I do not consider it cheap for the conditions provided! Big and (almost) clean, but needs ASAP maintenance work. Inside and out! I will return again to this place for it's location and price.
I almost broke/cut one finger leg outside, where some ceramic tiles are broke and out of their places. We had 2 nights with rain, the second one rain got through the roof, inside. We had to collect water. In the living/kitchen area it is an entrance to the underground not sealed; kids could be tempted to jump through the stairs. Under it is nothing, just empty and wet place (with mold on walls, which could be a problem for allergic people). They tried to overcharge us for towels (description says nothing about so you expect not such a thing. I asked for a receipt, in the end they said I don't need to pay. Still, this is headaches. The towels that they provided were old and smelled nasty. With all this, I would still return for the location and same price. The garden is beautiful but there is also some work needed.  It's a shame! With a small consideration and desire, the place could be gorgeous.

After reading all these positive opinions here I must say that either we had to have bad luck or things have got worsen lately.
 
The offer was extremally cheap indeed, so I didn't expect any miracles, but..... 
First of all, we originally ordered 2-bedroom apartment, but upon arrival were assigned to 1-bedroom one and had to ask for a change. The groundfloor appartment we finally received was spacious, with a bit worn, but still functional furniture. If it were properly maintained it would keep the average standard of a budget accomodation. But it weren’t. It suffered heavily from total lack of care. 
The tv set was spoiled and didn’t work. The lighting was equipped with probably the lowest available wattage bulbs (if any - there was a lamp without any bulb as well), with dim light making the atmosphere resembled those of the prison cell. Some of tableware in the (musty smelling) kitchen lockers were simply dirty. Outside “patio” (being rather a path leading to the entrance stairs) was equipped with looking like never cleaned grill, old broken garden umbrella and dozens of cigarette butts swimming in the big ashtray (we arrived on a rainy day).
 
I don’t know whether all apartments look the same (I hope not), but at least you should steer clear of apt no 1 (corner groundfloor one). And it’s not true that all apartments have sea (marina) views. Appartment no 1 has not, instead it offers a panoramic view of the high retaining wall from both bedrooms.

Really cheap but terribly maintained

I was a bit dubious about staying here when my partner booked it, it seemed too cheap to be true! However, i was totally wrong and it was exactly what we wanted. 

when we arrived our room was still being cleaned (we were early), we came back half an hour later to a nice clean appartment with clean sheets and towels (we had to pay 10euro for the towels for the week). The appartment had a huge balcony looking over the marina. The kitchenette was exactly what was needed, two gas rings, enough plates etc for the two of us. The bathroom was clean an the shower always had hot water, the water pressure was fine. The beds were comfy and sheets clean, the air con worked in both rooms. 

All in all, these appartments were perfect and cheat for our week away, i would recomend to anyone. 

Just be aware that it isnt a 5* hotel and you shouldnt complain about the place not being perfect, its perfectly adequate for a week of self catering!

We stayed for 3 nights and we not regret.Good value for the money.A big apartment .No sheets ,you can buy from the manager.No interent,very bad connection cell pfone .Free parking.Good view to a harbor.

Good place to stay

We could not find a place for more than an hour using GPS, asking locals and patiently driving all around Castelsardo...address given on a booking is an address of another hotel, there is no information where the Residence Le Marine is located nor any signs leading to the place once you are already in the Castelsardo. So far we always managed to find the place we were looking for but this time it was simply impossible. However after call to the owner or someone who takes care about guests we were picked up and led to the actual Residence Le Marine. To be fair it was explained to us that this place has no own address but just to make it easier for guests please place a large sign next to the gate. We would definitely see it than. Place itself is a rental apartment which can be a perfect place for family with kids. Is large, spacious, with kitchen, large bathroom, washing machine and bedroom. Airco works very good. Place is clean and well maintained. Has good safe which for us was important. There is no breakfast available which was fine as well. View from front window is at the marine so actually quite spectacular. Price is very reasonable so all in all good value for money. If only we could find it easier we would definitely score it higher.
