Agriturismo S Angelo offers a traditional yet simple farmhouse in the countryside with a lovely pool. However there are a couple of things you should know before making a booking; 

1.) the house is in the countryside, basically in the middle of nowhere, and there is no little village close by where you can go and have a drink at nighttime - you definitely need a car! 

2.) there is no restaurant on site (neither within walking distance) where you can eat lunch/dinner, and the closest supermarket is about 15 min drive away. 

3.) there’s a train track behind the farmhouse (a couple of hundred meters away) which you can hear clearly if you sit outside, the train sometimes pass as frequently as every 10 minutes. 

Make sure to get a flat on ground floor facing towards the pool so you can sit outside during the day/night!

Location and appartments are very nice. At the same location is a ristorante. They have good food and kitchen. During our stay there was one evening/night a wedding party in the garden witch was over at 01.30 AM. Because of very loud music and talking  we could not sleep.

Authentic styles, and in general pretty good quality. Lack of detail orietation, meant we had to ask for more utencils, glasses etc. Good pool area, great views, lovde the outdoor breakfast. Quiet and relaxing. Space, meant that kids had room to run around, and no problem with car parking. Short drive to a lot of wonderful towns. Never a boring moment.

The real Tuscan feeling

We stayed one week in the appartment "Il Nido". This was a very comfortable appartment with all you need for a week's holiday. Shops are neaby (10 min by car). 
Small kitchen, but with all basic equipment for a 'fast cook'. Wifi is excellent (personal router).
The swimming pool is very well maintained and has enough seats to serve everyone. 
The restaurant on premises is very good at average cost.
We encountered a very friendly staff that had allways the right answer.

Un segreto meraviglioso

We stayed here for a week in August and had a really fantastic time. The accommodation was ideal for our needs, it was clean and there was plenty of room for our family of 5 (3 children aged 14, 11 and 7). The pool was very clean and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We didn't eat at the restaurant as it was closed when we had planned to go (Saturday night), but there are plenty of great alternatives nearby. 
The weather was beautiful during our stay and it was incredibly warm both day and night. The air con in the accommodation was a real  bonus as lots of other agriturismos don't have air conditioning.
All in all, a fantastic time was had by all. Depsite being the only English family at S.Angelo during our stay, we were made to feel very welcome and would love to return one day.

Perfect!

Stayed for 6 nights with friends and adult children in 4 different apartments.  Ideal for having your own space but also being able to get together around the beautiful pool.   Apartments very clean, bathrooms look new.  Recommend you take a travel kettle and a large mug if you enjoy a cup of tea as neither supplied in the kitchenettes!  Staff friendly and helpful.  Can't wait to go back.
