Worst service that i have ever seen. Don't waste your time there. We stopped by fir a coffee (which was not so good), and when we asked to use the restrooms we almost got a no answer, and the bar tender started to say that you cant just order coffee and use the restrooms. From then on we haven't got even a thank you or a smile. 

Rude, rude, rude

The rooms are small and there is no a/c. The windows were big but below the hotel is an all night gas station so there is semi truck traffic all night. It was very hard to sleep 
The balcony provided a nice view of the town. 
The bathroom has lovely stained glass tiles and modern appliances but the shower was so tiny my shoulders touched the sides of the walls and I'm not a very big person. If you are tall or heavy you wouldn't fit in the shower ...
The food was very tasty and was prepared by the owner and his wife. They were generous and kind.

Hot!

Hotel Beyfin was fabulous.  Brilliant value for money - rooms/bedding/towels were clean, we had a great balcony and view off our room, breakfast was entirely adequate but the BEST thing about the hotel is the owner who made us feel so at home and was hilarious!  Absolutely worth a visit.

Not to be missed!

Easy to find on the main road to Rome. In a very convenient and strategic position for sightseeing around Monte Amiata and for visiting the numerous nearby spas. Upon our arrival we had a welcoming reception and were actually shown to our room by the owner who also offered to carry our case!! The room was simply but adequately furnished and recently rennovated-actually got a double bed instead of the '2-singles-put-together' treatment. Huge balcony with coffee table and chairs looking on to a spectacular wood. There was also a public balcony for sunbathing, relaxing etc. Reasonably priced restaurant offering both meat and fish dishes which were deliciously cooked. However, breakfast, which although to my taste with cuts of freshly cut cured meats, pecorino cheese and fresh fruit, lacked cereal, milk and butter ( but I'm sure that if asked, they would be brought). Well stocked fridge in room. Unfortunately the hitch for me was the wifi which (in our room) had a weak signal and as my mobile had no signal there, I couldn't use it as a modem, so all intentions of doing a bit of work went down the drain (pity!!!) On one hand, it was very peaceful in spite of it being on a main road (ask for a back room for more peace and stunning sunrises) on the other, it was rather isolated for going out in the evening etc. Car absolutely necessary. The owner really did make us feel at home and spent time with talking with us and giving us tips on what to do/see. Will definitely re-book on next visit to spas in the area.

Down to earth but wonderfully treated.

Was a bit hard to find on the GPS but it was uphill from there.  The guy at the reception was welcoming and friendly and immediately suggested things to go and see why we waited for our room to be prepared.
The room was small but sufficient, the balcony was huge and the bathroom was lovely.  It is obvious that this place has recently been renovated.
We were there for a wedding in the nearby town of Pienza and not only did the owner organize transport for us (not a lot of cabs out there) he also made arrangements for us to get back inside the hotel at 4am the following morning as they didn't have a 24 hour presence at the front desk.
Breakfast was simple but satisfying and quaintly Italian, the views from the room were breathtaking and waking up to a Tuscan landscape definitely gives this place a good rating. 
Price wise very reasonable (booked through booking.com), and it deserves slightly more than a 3 star rating in my opinion.  Definitely will go back if I get the chance to return to Tuscany.
