I spent perfect family holiday in Le Galere. Appartment was spacious, clean and quiet. The building is situated on a little hill with nice view to natural park on one side and beautiful Tuscany country landscape on the other. Thanks to hill and wind it was comfotable in Italian heat in July. There are 9 appartments in the building (fully booked during my stay) but I had perfect privacy and didn't feel disturbed by others. Appartment had two bedrooms (one on 1st floor with balkony), nice terrace, bathroom with shower, and living-room with kitchen. Nice swimming pool with a lot of space around and tiny playground for kids (bigger would be nicer). It is possible to make barbecue. Just 10 minutes drive to very nice sea side town Castiglione della Pescaia. Closest shop is albo there, but fresh bread is delivered every morning to appartment. Each appartment has a parking place. A host, Erika, is a very hospitable, nice and helpful person. Le Galere is a place to come back.

Perfect place for families with little children

Place sorted out by a novel. We stayed a couple of miles far from the beach in an isolated and beuatiful place rich of nature surroundings and peaceful silence.
Perfect to relax away from the daily chaos and enjoy your family in the countryside during resting hours!!

Marvelous long weekend

this small house with apartments is wonderful, the outside facilities are excellent. Each apartment has a private terrace seating area. Pool is excellent. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The negatives are all within the inside of the apartment. We paid around €1500 for 7 days. We expected more modern and luxurious interior than this apartment offered. We had apartment number 9. There is no ground floor, only first and second floor. In the apartment there is a tiny kitchenette and a two seater sofa bed, no room to seat all the guests that sleep in the apartment. The apartment could sleep 5 people. The kitchen utensils were old and worn, and not enough cups and glasses for the number of people in the apartment. In the bathroom, the toilet is fitted next to the shower cubicle so you have to sit side ways on the toilet! Worst of all are the beds, awful quality. We didn't have one good nights sleep. We slept in better beds at a holiday inn express on the way to this apartment. For the price you pay the beds should be of a much higher quality! Tip for the owner - invest in new beds, upgrade your kitchen utensils, remove the bulky furniture and replace with smaller units to maximise on space, put a wardrobe in the main double bedroom, we had no where to hang any of our clothes, so we lived out of our suitcase.
