I can't and don't believe positive reviews. This was a very run down place, but that could be forgiven if it were not for a lack of hygiene - can be old, but doesn't have to be dirty - two separate things and I know that very well. This place was genuinely dirty. Manager had an excuse for everything - she should know honesty is the best approach in hospitality business.

The worst experience ever

We were the first guests to arrive after Micke and Magnus took over the hotel in late November 2021. We were 29 skiers from the Skiclub Hareskov who had to rebook our trip from Austria to Italy in the 11th hour due to the corona situation in Austria.
The hotel is very well located by the main street and close to the lifts. 
Nice rooms and extraordinary good service from all staff. 
The food was really really good - both the breakfast buffet and the dinner.
Micke went out of the way to make our stay an extraordinary experience! 
And the skiing was much better than we thought this early in the season.
WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Outstanding experience at Hotel Fosson

Impeccably clean, friendly small hotel with hearty mountain food.  Perfect for a ski holiday as 1 minute walk from the chair-life, heated boot lockers, and plenty of hot water.  Paola and  family and staff are very friendly and helpful.   We have been to this hotel at least a dozen times and will be returning.

Family ski holiday

We had such a relaxing stay. Paola and her family were so welcoming ( staying up well into the early hours following the drone episode at Gatwick) When it comes to service, Christina,Francesca and Martina couldn't have been more helpful.The hotel is really cosy, spotlessly clean and well located for the high street and the slopes. Food was excellent and the hotel has a good selection of local wines.If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle this really is the place to go.

A lovely way to spend Christmas!

What an absolute pleasure to stay at Paola’s Place. Simple yet very welcoming and cosy family fun hotel tucked just off the main street in the centre of Cervinia. It is about a 5 minute walk to the lifts and ski school. The ski hire shop recommended is worth avoiding however - the owner Micheli is just plain miserable! 

Rooms are a bit compact but very clean & cosy. The reception rooms are really classy with lots of sumptuous areas just to relax and unwind. You can book a private sauna downstairs for a few Euros. The ski and boot room is huge, warm and functioning. Limited parking outside the hotel but if you wait the odd day, you’ll get a spot. 

Well the best bit is the food. The breakfast spread is excellent; fresh croissants, ham, cheese, juices. Dinner is even better with a wonderfully fresh salad selection followed by “The Full Monty” of a classic Italian dinner. My brother required gluten-free food and they absolutely excelled at keeping him happy all week. Wonderful selection of wines from the Aosta Valley too to compliment an outstanding kitchen. We will return.

Excellent service from all staff. Really decent food 

If you are looking for a cosy, comfortable, family-run hotel for a quiet stay with good food in Cervinia, then Hotel Fosson ticks all the right boxes. Paula speaks impeccable English and is always ready with helpful advice. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast buffet has everything a hungry skier could want. We had dinner one of the 3 nights, which was great value and high quality. Highly recommended

A great option in Cervinia

Myself and two friends spent a week at the hotel at the beginning of February 2018. We had a real great week skiing in and around Cervinia. Our stay included both breakfast and dinner. We could not have been more delighted to find out that a full breakfast was served in the morning and a delicious dinner served every night we stayed there. The service and restaurant personnel were friendly and took great care of us.
