This accommodation was great for us and it was cheap compared to other residencies in Cervinia.  Although the building itself isn't the prettiest on the mountain the rooms are very clean and have the bacis you need, 2 ring hob fridge and bacis utensils for the kitchen etc bedding etc is extra
Local supermarket as you would expect from a ski resort and is very expensive.  We stopped off on the way up from the airport to stocked up and it was half the price.
Nicola whom ones and runs the apartments is wonderful on or way up to resort we got stuck in a hurendous snow storm, the snow chains that were provided we couldn't fit for dear life after a quick phone call to Nicola he has jumped in his car and drove down to save us.  Good job he discovered the hire company gave us the wrong ones.....
RIGHT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART SKI IN AND OUT
SKI OUT Turn  right as you come out of the apartments up the side and round the back you can then put yous ski on follow the back of the apartments this will take you out at the bottom of red 16
SKI BACK this is possible but not for the novice as it is off pest.  Head along red 13 just before you go under the chair lift there is a sign on the right saying residence turn off here and head along till you reach a red ski pole.  Turn left and head down towards the apartments.  If this is a bit daunting go to the bottom of red 16 and follow the road back up this will take about  10 min walk.  If you are unable to get onto red 13 due to lifts being closed there is a local bus that runs about every half a hour from the clock in town that will cost  apron €1.10 each.
If you fancy taking a walk in to Cervinia this will take a aproximently 20 mins to get down to and about 30 mind to get back up, but there is always the bus if you don't fancy the walk.

Great skiing

We had an apartment for 6 - there were 5 of us (2 adults & our kids) and it was perfect for us but it might be less comfortable with 6 adults as 3 sleep in the living space and 3 in the bedroom. 
The apartment was clean, comfortable and warm. The view of the Matterhorn from the room was spectacular - the most beautiful sight to wake up to. 
The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful- digging out cars from snow, carrying skis, dealing quickly with any problems. 
There's plenty of parking at the apartments but there's also a bus down to the village which stops right outside. 
Petit Tibet is good accommodation and I would certainly recommend it. 

Great accommodation 

We stayed here 6 days (but had to pay for a week). According to previous reviews I knew that we had to pay for towels and linen but I had no idea how much. Additionally we had to pay for everything; toalet paper, dish washing liquid, shampoo.. and do everything By ourselves (get rid of trashes, make our beds..). Beds were awful to sleep (really, really bad).
This is NOT a ski in-out place. You have to carry skiis about 300 m up and down. 
The worst thing was that one emplyee shouted us because we asked for toalet paper (did not know we have buy it by ourselves) and said us stubid for picking this sheap place.
But as everywhere in Cervinia, the view is nice!
I would never go back!

Bad impacts, low quality

Me and 5 others chose Petit Tibet because of the ski in/ski out option. However, this was not the case. 
With the ski out option (leaving the apartment) we had to walk to the back of the apartment and off piste to the nearest slope (200 meters away) ONLY possible for very experienced skiers, since there was one very tight off piste (no braking possible) 
The ski in option (arriving to the apartment) we had to go, again, off piste through many trees. This was a very dangerous maneuvre, which we didn't want to try.
Instead we had to walk 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the afternoon. If we didn't want to do that, we could take a taxi. 
No compensation or even recognition from the staff that this was a problem.
According to them it was because of heavy snow fall. Even without heavy snow fall we still 
have to go through some pro-level off piste to get out and go home. 

Ski in/ski out only for professionals

The room was very old fashioned and undemanding. The beds are too little, the doors and windows are low qualities (the wind was blowing inwards), and froze. Water dripped from the window and from the walls.

The kitchen is bad equipped, only two cooker, without mircowawe oven, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, grill... We didn't have balcony, I felt myself, like in the 60's.

This is not ski in hotel, because the lifts are out of order on this side. We had to skiing, and after to walk for the lifts.

The hotel has a garage, 50 euro/week. 
I can write only a good thing, the price is not so high. 

But the total impact is very negatív I have never been in so low qualitiy hotel.
