Service and atmosphere were nice. Food was almost mediocre! White fish sandwich is catfish. Expect higher quality food for high prices. Homemade pickles tasty and reasonable at $5. Drink good too but $100 lunch.

Disappointed

This accommodation has many pros to it.  It is spacious and clean. It includes a kitchen with a  dishwasher.  The design is sleek and modern. It has a fantastic view of the Cathedral Campanile, which is beautifully lit at night. Air conditioning works well.  It is within walking distance to the train station for day trips and there are many shops and restaurants nearby.  With a few changes the accommodation could be excellent.  First, the apartment is not equipped with internet.  The town provides free internet access, and the owner suggested that it is available in the apartment.  It is not available to individuals outside of Italy without visiting the tourist office, providing a passport, and signing up for it. A guest should not be expected to access a local wifi of unknown security. Moreover, the signal did not work in the apartment.  The owner provided a usb stick but that also required a trip to the telecommunications store.  Far too much trouble and time for guests to jump through these hoops to get access to the internet. The apartment itself is "barren" in several respects.  The floors are wooden and there is not a single carpet throughout.  No kettle.  No toaster.  No basic spices or oil and vinegar as is usual in apartment rentals.  No space for toiletries in bathroom.  No hooks for hanging towels.  One bath towel provided per person. Limited number of laundry tablets, dishwasher tablets, etc.  This is a very nice apartment and not a bad choice, but with a bit more attention to the guest experience it could be fantastic.
