This year, we went back to our beloved place in Tuscany.
And again, we had an unforgettable time in this little paradise ... with the most lovely hosts!
Each year we discover new places to visit,( this region offers a lot of interesting places nearby)  but above all  we keep enjoying the beautiful view over the hills, the quiet environment, the clean rooms and well maintained swimming pool.
We are very thankfull for the way the hosts take care of us and make us feel at home Allessandra and Mauro did all the things they can  to make our stay as an onforgettable experience.
We are already  looking forward to go back!

We have been here a few times with out parents and we keep coming back. 
This time with our own children :-)
Pieve di san martino never disappoints.

It is very clean, calm and peaceful. 
It has a beautiful view.
It is near touristic highlights (Siena, San Giminiano, Volterra, Chianti...)
And it has friendly hosts Mauro and Allessandra!

This time we rented a vespa (rental was 5min drive from pieve di san martino) and drove to Volterra and in the Chianti area. With its constant "postcard" view, I reccomand it to anyone.
You also have a nice view from the terras and the pool. It is the perfect place to relax.
In Casolé d'Elsa we ate at Café Casolani. You can not choose what you eat, but is very local en very good.

We keep coming back!

We stayed one week in the apartment Girasole, which has a wonderful view on the valley, every moment of the day the light is different. The large garden is well maintained with a lot of flowers. Fresh herbs are available for the guests.
The apartment is clean,  well equipped and the pool is super. The owners, Sandra and Mauro are very friendly and offer a great hospitality! Jaap & Loes

Wonderful place to stay

Very nice location, perfect to visit famous cities nearby such as Siena, Firenze, Volterra, San Gimignano and the  Chianti region. If you love to enjoy the silence, the beautiful nature,  an amazing view over the Tuscan hills, a lovely garden and a very clean swimming pool  ...  there is no better place than Lano! It's hardly to believe that you can find all this at one place, we can assure you: THAT  IT IS !!
Very friendly owners! Mauro, Alessandra and Marco, are very helpfull, and make your stay  'the best ever'! A warm thanks to all of you:) ,  we are looking forward to return next year!

Perfect location, MOST friendly owners, fantastic view

I dream about this place all through the year and can't wait to get there.  Of course, it is my wife who does all the travel planning and makes all the arrangements but I make sure she knows that, from my point of view, a trip to Italy is not complete without a good dose of Pieve di San Martino. While she is as happy as can be with any one of the perfectly clean and well appointed apartments, for me, it is all about the morning views over the hills of Tuscany: they are truly amazing and the sunsets are just as uplifting, while anything in between is just as satisfying. If it were up to me, I might just choose to spend my days outside, by the pool... but how could I, when all the best sights of Tuscany are within easy reach?  Good job, Alessandra and Mauro!  You have done your best and your place shows your love and devotion.
