Bed and Breakfast Da Claudio

This place is the equivalent of a beach bum hangout, Italian style! I'd be surprised if one can get any closer to the water on the Amalfi Coast at a comparable price. The balcony view was amazing, and actually, not much different than the view from the bed itself. Swimming and sunbathing were great!! The bed was comfortable. Yes, the room is small. Yes, the shower is small, and it takes a couple of minutes for the water to get hot. So what?? Claudio and his family were very nice, and great hosts. A general comment: It's a little difficult getting around on the Amalfi Coast, as the bus is crowded and infrequent, and you DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE around there, unless you simply love stress. The best way to get between towns is the ferry, with great views. The bus ride into Amalfi to catch the ferry appears unavoidable, unless you want to walk it....it's a couple of miles, not too bad.
