I can’t rate this small family hotel high enough, everything is excellent!!!
Predominantly run as a B&B hotel, the breakfasts are freshly prepared daily and very good.

I have stayed here several times whilst touring as an ‘overnight stop’ and as a multi day holiday destination.
Open Summer and Winter, so an ideal location for summer walking/activity holidays  or ski-Ing in winter, access to the Dolomiti Superski piste system with 1200km of groomed trails is approx a 10 min walk.
Colfosco itself has a good selection of Bars and Restaurants and busy Corvara is a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bus ride away.

This family run hotel is located in a quiet side road in Colfosco Alta Badia, from the balconies there are excellent views of the Sella mountains and the valley towards Corvara.
There is onsite parking, alongside the hotel building.

The hotel has recently been extended and has had a fully modernised refurbishment, so in addition to the great location and views from the balconies, the rooms are very well fitted out.
Exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, modern bathroom/showers with plentiful hot water.
The family run and service the hotel daily with clean towels, room servicing and running the reception.

Silvia, who runs the booking system speaks English and (I guess other languages)  Italian and German.

If I need to stay in this area, Garni Declara is my first choice……always.

An excellent family run hotel in a great location

If you're looking for a cozy, super-clean and in a great location, the B&B Declara is the right choice. My boyfriend and I chose this property for our first holiday in Alta Badia and, no doubt, we would be ready to pick it again. Our room offered a beautiful view, it was a pleasure to open the window every morning and have a view like this. Not to mention the tranquility, impeccable cleanliness, kindness and availability of Silvia and Dad, the goodness of the cakes offered at breakfast as well as the abundance of things you could use.

Good choice

A cabin on the meadows, a lovely place, a kind and generous family, a great breakfast with homemade desserts, kitchen and laundry facilities, what more do you want for a holiday in the wild?

It's lovely.

It was my first time in the Dolomites and the accommodation was perfectly located. We had a fantastic view from the balcony and everything we needed in our room. The owners were lovely, discreet but available when needed. Breakfast is simple with everything you need and every morning you get a home-made piece of cake.
I would definitely recommend the place and would also come back.

Great view, lovely owners

First of all, the communication is great, which in a few minutes allowed me to book the room, make the payment for the cabin and receive the TOP receipt!! Great room, all new, warm and with balcony. Breakfast is good, both sweet and salty; I repeat for what I paid more than satisfactory. The part that penalizes a little is the relative distance of the track, about 300/400m, for me, it was not a problem however I saw that having the car you can easily approach by car having a parking lot near the tracks

Good price and quality

We spent a week, this place is fantastic! Located in a relaxed and quiet area. We felt at home. Excellent cleaning, plenty of breakfasts... delicious homemade cakes!!Thank you to Sylvia and her family for their kindness and hospitality!! Greetings from all the ns family. Schiavon🤗

Vacation in the high valley of the bay

The Dolomites are always a certainty, even more so if you are lucky enough to stay in a garden with a wonderful view, a cozy and very clean room, plenty of breakfast and a cheerful and familiar atmosphere!

It's a great holiday.

Charming location, beautiful scenery, nice room, a little small with two kids but nothing was missing, clean, fresh and very clean bathroom. Good and abundant breakfast, from sweet to salty, homemade sweets and fresh sandwiches garden big enough and kind and cordial owners.

week of relaxation

Excellent location (beautiful panorama on Corvara and the Sella), very clean structure, great availability of operators (variable bookings), prices in my opinion honest considering the context and the period (Alta Badia in March). Breakfast is rich and varied. I would have given five stars only if the beds had not been a little too soft and noisy and the soundproofing of the rooms had been a little higher.
